Exactly what it says on the tin.
It’s enormously informative and there’s information for beginners through to someone like myself a novice(ish) but I’d definitely recommend it to those of you interested in learning more on our sky (whether that be it’s changes through the seasons or something else like the different phases of the moon) there really is something for everyone in here.

The Collins Night Sky guides never disappoint.
I think this year's edition is much clearer than it's been in some years, with cleaner and more visual diagrams and pictures.

The '2024 Guide to the Night Sky' has been a very informative read. Although I consider myself a big-time geek when it comes to astrology, constellations, and space, I found this book rather too clinical. I found that the storytelling was missing, and it was more like reading events and facts. Pictures sadly didn't work with my Kindle either, they all were grey and blurry.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC; unfortunately, I couldn't click with this read.

An excellent guide to the night skies above the United Kingdom for 2024. The handbook includes a general introduction to the night sky. There follows a summary of the most distinctive seasonal constellations to help you find your way around the night sky. A section on the Moon and planets provides a detailed map of the moon and traces the positions of the planets throughout the year.
There is then a detailed month by month account of the night sky. Each month gives information on the prominent constellation on view, a map of the northern sky and a map of the southern sky, information on the Moon and planets, as well as a calendar of important features.
With so much detail, this is an extremely helpful guide for anyone starting off in astronomy.
