This is a beautiful book of Catholic prayers that every family should own. Beautifully illustrated and organized. I purchased the book when it came out and once I saw what a treasure it is, I immediately purchased two more. Well done!

While I didn't finish the entire thing as much as I wished to Im absolutely buying a physical copy of it. The prayers inside were so wonderful filled with love and I've copies several down to use in my day to day life myself. You could feel the love pouring for the Lord in every page and I shed quite a few tears reading this. An absolute gem that deserves to be in the collection of both of every churches and every Christians home library. Cannot possibly recommend it enough,as the beauty of those prayers cant possibly be captured in a review.

For Catholics wanting to move beyond the basic prayers learned as children, The Ave Treasury of Catholic Prayers will not disappoint.

This is a book to reference over and over again rather than one to just read through.

While the ARC I was provided is digital, I would highly recommend a print book for the home.

I have been searching high and low for a book of Catholic prayers. I have various prayer books scattered throughout my home, but desperately wanted them all in one tidy volume. The Ave Treasure of Catholic Prayers did NOT disappoint. Prayers for every occasion are included, and the eBook is easy to navigate. I use this book daily, and have reached for it on multiple occasions. A must-have for any Catholic!

Great Book of Prayers

The author states that this book of Catholic prayers were created to enrich readers' ongoing dialogue with God, as well as with Mary and the saints. She, further, states that these prayers are passed to us from the Church to sustain and encourage us —especially when we have intentions that are so important to us that we struggle to find the words to express them adequately to God.

The author states that this exquisite collection of 150 prayers are not only the prayers we ought to know (General Prayers) but also the prayers we need, when we need them most. Additionally, the author states that this prayer book offers not only prayers you can raise to God throughout the day but also prayers of adoration and blessing, contrition, thanksgiving and praise, and supplication to meet the need of the moment, special devotional prayers to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, as well as prayers you can offer before and after receiving the sacraments or at eucharistic adoration. Whatever grace you need in the moment, there is a suitable prayer to give voice to the deepest and most pressing intentions of your heart.

This is a great book of prayers I read nearly every last one of them, and they are so realistic and down-to-earth for daily use to commune with God.

I truly highly recommend this book.

What a collection. Aimed at catholics for the saintly references and praise of Mary, but most are suitable for all Christians. They are of all lengths and range from the very well known creeds, the Nunc Dimitis and the Ave Maria. The prayers are collected by time of day, by occasion and by theme. A grouping of prayers to dip into and to use in private as well as in preparation for collective worship. The prayers of blessing were especially moving.

This is a great little book on every catholic prayer that you could one! I highly recommend if for Mass! Especially if you don't know them all! The pictures inside and outside are gorgeous I would love to get myself a physical copy

“ The Ave Treasury of Catholic Prayers” book was filled with many great prayers. I knew quite a few of the prayers and some were from some newer Saints or the Pope, but there were also a good amount that I had not seen before. I particularly liked some of the thanksgivings for children’s and adults birthdays. This was very well organized and laid out. I would love to purchase a copy of this book to have handy in my purse.

As a new Catholic, this was such a great resource to have! I will definitely be sharing this with all of my Catholic friends, new and old alike. I really am excited to bolster my prayer life with this book!

I was not raised within the rich Catholic tradition that would eventually play an important role in my conversion after Vatican II. Part of that tradition is the vast collection of prayer that have stood the test of time for nearly any occasion, situation or need … and which sadly seem to frequently be left on the shelf more often than not. As I continue to explore my new faith, this collection of 150 prayers that represents both liturgical/community prayer and less formal private/solitary prayer is the most complete collection that I have encountered and has proved to be an invaluable asset for enriching my own relationship through prayer with my creator.

The Ave Treasury of Catholic Prayers is a comprehensive collection of prayers that will appeal to any Catholic. The inclusion of scriptural prayers or prayers authored by saints as well as quotes from saints at the start of each section is a nice touch. Some favourite prayers of mine that were great to see included were the Litany of Humility, the Litany of Trust and St Thomas Aquinas’ Prayer before Mass and Prayer of Thanksgiving. Something I would like to have seen more of is prayers for Eucharistic Adoration. The ones included are good, but most are either very short, or are part of Exposition and Benediction already. Some more prayers that can be used for reflection during Adoration would have improved that chapter.

Excellent compilation of Catholic prayers, litanies, and aspirations arranged by topic. In a small format that will be easy to put in a bag, tote, or purse.
