Song of The Sun God by Shankari Chandra - 3/5 ⭐

A cover is my weakness. I always base my choices of covers, and the cover for Song of The Sun God captured my attention almost immediately. It's visually stunning!

Now, it's not BAD but it's not great either! There's a good plot and story line but the religious take in the book is strong! I appreciate detail to attention as much as the next person but the information on the religious standpoint is far to much. It's probably my fault, I don't have the attention spam to hold so much information at once, especially with religion!

But saying that, the description is absolutely flawless. Chandra goes into so much detail and explanation about the religious take in the book, it is honestly mind blowing. There's great depth in the entirety and the story has a good flow, even if it is a slow burn!
