A Mother’s Courage is the true story of how Malka Levine and her two brothers survived WWII through her mother’s determination. I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it highly to people interested in historical fiction.

This is a beautifully written book about an horrific time in our history. The mother’s love and courage seeps through the pages. It’s not a fuzzy-feeling book, yet it is because of the way it has been written. I couldn’t put this book down, reading it when I should have been working/sleeping. I’d recommend this book to anyone who is interested in history, but also relationships. It won’t be one for everyone, just because it is from such a harrowing time in Europe.

This is a brilliantly written book about courage and strength against all odds! The story of a family torn about in the holocaust.. but a mother’s fight to save her children no matter what, through all the horror they endured. What a mother she was! She courage and strength she had through everything she faced to protect her children at whatever cost to herself.. in the middle of the horror and ugliness that
Was the holocaust lies the beautiful story of when humanity beats all. A Christian family helping hide the jewish family at great risk to themselves it may not seem like much but it was enormous to the mother and her children! From mother to mother they was going to save those children.
No matter the conditions in their hide out they was greatful to be alive and not back in their home city where death was almost certain. Even after liberation and ‘freedom’ the family faced antisemitism everywhere! Yet their mother never stopped..

A truely heartbreaking yet amazing story of how a mother will stop at nothing to save her babies!
