I read these books separately last year so was excited to re read for this book.

I’m a big fan of interconnected books where we each couple has their own stories but you still get to keep in touch with your favourite couples.

As always the story telling from Daniela is excellent ,

All the stories are very well written, great character building you can real feel the love, hatred and sarcasm in some points screaming through the page

This book was okay. Not to one of the plot and didn’t really connect with the characters to care enough.

“Wicked Savage Cruel” by Daniela Romero

In a high school where football is everything, the top players rule everyone at Sun Valley Highschool.

Allie moved when her mother died to live with her absent father. Now enrolled in a new high school she wants to blend in and get by until she’s eighteen. Roman won’t let that happen. Bent on causing as much chaos as possible he toys with Allie, making her everyone’s target and being his new toy. When feelings start to catch it gets complicated.

Bibiana has gone back to school after being a teen mom and vows to not let anyone know and just get her diploma. Her time in school gets complicated when she runs into her baby daddy on the first day. She never told him about the baby, but will she find the right time to tell him? Maybe not because Emilio is determined to play her like he felt she played him last year. Can they find a way to be a happy family?

Kasey, the little sister of one of the boys in the group is now in college but still way to close to Dominique. Always starting fights and bickering with each other. Dominique has been attracted to Kasey for a long time but cannot seem to be nice to her. Kasey, while physically attracted to Dominique, hates his guts. When Kasey’s life gets turned upside-down with a family tragedy everything starts to spiral out of control. Can they be nice to each other long enough to admit they both want to be an item?

The stories were good but not really my thing. I don’t love how truly men these boys are to girls and that they think they are the coolest things to walk the earth. I say that because when reading these stories I was taken right back to high school and realized I do not miss how a lot of popular guys acted at that age. Playing football does not make them gods of the planet but they are so arrogant to think they actually are and just because of that. It was very realistic in that sense though, I just felt it was so cringe. The characters all deal with big hardships which I did like such as rape, teen pregnancy, abuse, drugs, alcohol, etc. even though I didn’t love it I still think it was good and worth a read. 3 out of 5 stars.

If you like a high school bully romance, this box set is definitely for you. Each book fits perfectly within the trope and has everything you want from a bully romance. You also get all the HEAs. I love how they interconnect but aren’t fully dependent on each other.

This is a great box set if you love bully romances. Set in Highschool (seniors with the exception of one character that is a bit younger than the rest), Daniela really ties each book into the other with a great main group. Dynamic characters who all grow within their stories, lots of angst and spice, and some great themes really bring it all home.

Themes/tropes: new girl, brothers best friend, bully romance, Highschool/college romance, second chance romance, enemies to lovers, single mom, found family.

Please pay attention to trigger warnings before reading.

Wicked Savage Cruel by Danielle Romero is three books in one which follows the trio of friends (the Sun Valley High Devils) and each of their romantic journeys. To describe my opinions, Ill make it easier by reviewing each one individually.

Wicked Devil, the first book and my favourite follows newbie Allie who recently moved in with her biological father following her mothers death. She’s being groomed to fit into her father’s lavish lifestyle. Roman Valdez is the popular football player. He sleeps around, plays games with women and generally only has patience for his friends Dominique and Emilio. First impressions between the two are not good. Roman thinks Allie is a spoilt princess and she finds him cruel. This is a well written bully romance, which I love. There should be a trigger warning though for sexual assault and rape on page, something I definitely didn’t expect. I think Romero wrote Allie’s journey after her assault really well. It’s impossible to write the experience of every survivor but for Allie’s story, I think it was handled really well. Reading Don’s treatment from the police for simply existing was heart wrenching and seeing Allie risk herself to keep Dom safe was incredible. You could feel the trauma and terror both characters felt in that moment.

Savage Devil is the second book and follows Emilio and Bibiana who meet at a party and have a one night stand. She was determined to lose her virginity before leaving Sun Valley. Emilio was immediately infatuated with Bibi but she vanishes before he wakes, never to be seen again. Or so he thought. Following a time jump we find Bibi getting ready for her big return to High School after the birth of her son Luis! That’s right, a secret baby. Bibi had no idea who she slept with and looked for him for a while before accepting she’s never find out. Well, until she goes to Sun Valley High and sees him. I enjoyed this one too. It was emotional, steamy and addictive and the story from book one continued here and connected the plot and characters nicely.

Cruel Devil was my least favourite. It wasn’t the entire book and ended on a cliffhanger. This followed Dominique and Aaron (another friend of the Devil’s) sister Kelsey as she moved into a sorority house to take on some college classes. There was always tension between the two characters in books one and two so finally seeing their romance was great. I just didn’t connect to their story like I did the previous two books. Kelsey was 17, just reaching 18 once the two slept together and I think I just didn’t like her character that much. Dom seemed different that he previously was as well. In the other books he was the supporter, great with baby Luis and determined to do well for himself. In this book he became this growly bear with only Kelsey on his mind. It was great seeing more of Aaron’s story and the hints to his trauma. But overall I was really infuriated it ended on a cliffhanger. It wasn’t 3 whole books really, more like two and a half. Although one and two were standalone, there were still overarching plot points that linked everything. In the third one I found this wasn’t the case and it felt out of place almost.

I liked seeing Emilio’s brother in the novella at the end. As a side character, you couldn’t sense much about him in the second book so seeing more of his personality and history just enriched the books further.

Overall this was a great box set. They were definitely ordered in the sequence I enjoyed the most to the least. I wish Cruel Devil was deeper like one and two but overall it was worth reading.
I look forward to reading more from Danielle Romero.

Wicked Devil
I was shocked that I enjoyed this book as much as I did. Although I shouldn't be shocked, based on my reaction when I read The Savage by the same author. I am not a huge fan of bull romances, but I would never begrudge someone their favorite trope. Every once in a while, I like a good redemption, a good grovel, a good mean love story. And this was all three.

Roman is just absolutely abysmal to Allie in the beginning. Like full out mean. Painted a target on her back, pretty much advertised "Hey come beat this girl up!" But then he decided he liked her, but he didn't know how to express it. Being a stubborn male is definitely Ro's worst trait. But once Ro decided Allie was his girl, all bets were off. He and his crew would protect her.

One thing I will say: these kids have an awful lot of sex for being in high school. And actually a lot of sex IN the school building. Those parts made me flinch a little, as I have a son who's a senior in high school. I mean I'm not dumb. Teenagers have sex. Teenagers have parties. It is what it is.

One thing I definitely question is Allie's dad. What does he do? Why is he so prominent. Why wasn't Allie important to him? Why did he even want her to live with him in the first place if he wasn't going to really take care of her?

I'll definitely read the rest of the series, as I liked all the side characters.

Savage Devil
I may be a little obsessed with the worlds Daniela Romero creates. I was never one much for bully romances, but I am all over these! Especially where babies are involved *all the heart eyes* I just love the characters and relationships she has created.

After a one night stand where they didn't exchange names or numbers, Bibiana finds herself a single mother with no way to get in contact with the baby's father. She can't stop thinking about him, tho. She moves back to the area and runs into him at school - but he's Emilio, a hotshot manwhore who pretends he doesn't recognize her. But as the events unfold (and there's a HUGE plot point from the first book resolved here), Emilio finds out he's baby Luis' father and goes caveman haha Well, caveman in the best way, actually. He immediately steps up and tells Bibi he wants to be in Luis' life, and he actually makes strides to do just that.

It's not easy, and there's other messy family drama for both Emilio and Bibi. But their HEA is so sweet. They both grew as people through the book, especially Emilio! I just loved how he stepped up and made Luis and Bibi his world.

Cruel Devil
*phew* I'm pretty picky about my bully romances, and Daniela Romero is one author I know I trust in this area. I met Dom and Kasey is previous books, so it was so obvious they would end up together haha This is the first book of their story.

Dom is Kasey's brother's best friend - so of course she's off limits in the love and lust department. Doesn't stop Dom from wanting her, tho. When a tragedy brings them closer, can they keep away from each other?

I admit sometimes the "bully" part of the romance makes me flinch, but it's never bad enough to trigger anything with me. Please if you are thinking about reading this book, check the trigger warnings

Whoever decided to bundle the trio of Devils booked was a genius - but also a torturer to leave us on such a cliff hanger for Dom and Kasey's book!!! What happens next?!?!

Each book is beautifully bittersweet with tragedy and pain laced within. Some serious trigger warnings throughout.

This contains the 3 books of the Devils of the Sun Valley High series, plus 2 short stories. Check the triggers before going into this, it's no romcom. I knew going in this was going to be dark, but I didn't expect it to get to that level. Also, what the fuck is wrong with these high school kids? It's so gratuitous and uncalled for, and mean! What in the animal kingdom is that? The author did a stellar job with the writing, pulling me down and making me feel all that desperation, darkness and frustration. And even if they are in high school, it's categorized as new adult, and there is nothing YA about this romance.
Book 1 - Wicked Devil
Allie just moved in with her dad after her mom passed away. Her boyfriend slept with her best friend and dumped her the same day of her mom passing. She's now starting in a new school, Sun Valley High. On her first day, the dean assigns Roman to be her welcome committee and show her around, which Roman doesn't like, and he sure won't let her have it easy. But she doesn't care, she has nothing to lose now.
This is a dark, bully, enemies to lovers, sports, spicy romance. Roman is a really unlikable, alpha protective male, but Allie is such a badass! I liked Dom and Emilio. I also liked Aaron, I couldn't wait to find out what exactly happened to deserve him the Devils' wrath. I was expecting I'd have to wait through all three books, but I was glad it resolved by the end of this one. And I adored Julio, I wish we saw more of him. On the other hand, her dad is an ass. I hate him. And I liked his assistant, Janessa, at first, but I changed my mind pretty abruptly when that bitch convinces Allie not to say anything (IYKYK).
Book 2 - Savage Devil
Bibiana had a one night stand with a Devil, and she will never forget it... Especially not given the consequences of that one night. Emilio has no idea, because not only did they not exchange names, she moved away right after their night. Now, a year and a half later, she's back, and she wants to tell him the truth, but there is so much on the line. And she's not sure she's ready to make a deal with the devil.
This one is a one night stand, accidental pregnancy, bully, dark, sports, spicy romance. Accidental pregnancy is not my favorite trope, but this one was well done, and I loved how Emilio stepped up right away. I'm also glad we get some follow up on Roman and Allie, and on Allie's case. And I loved how the school accommodates Bibi with Luis, and how all the devils (and the girls, and Emilio's brothers) step in to help as aunts and uncles.
Book 3 - Cruel Devil
Kasey is convinced Dominique, her brother's, Aaron, best friend, hates her. The thing is, he wants her. But she refuses to be just another game to win.
This is one is a taboo, best friend's little sister, enemies with benefits dark, bully, spicy romance. I couldn't wait to read Dominique's story, he was my favorite of the 3 devils in the first 2 books, and there were plenty of hints on what his story would be about (and who with). I have to admit I was dreading doing into this one, because I knew who it was about and it was categorized as taboo, and there are taboos I don't mind much, but I was afraid of this one. Luckily, this book takes place a few years after the second book, so Kasey is not 14 anymore. This was another hard one, and the author yet again made me cry. It feels a bit unfinished, and it ends on somewhat of a cliff hanger, but I know Dominique and Kasey's story continues in book 4.
Mischief Managed
In this short story, Kasey is still grieving hard and is desperately clawing to sex with to help her forget. It was fun to see Deacon's POV.
Holiday Sext
This one is about 2 characters, Penélope and Roberto. They went to Sun Valley High, and Roberto is Emilio's brother. I mainly felt a disconnect with the rest of this box set, and I was craving more of the devils, (who are still present in this one), but I was excited to get to book 4 of the series, so I could've done without this one, but it was still a fun read.
I received an advance review copy of this book for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Dark and twisted with a few trigger warnings that should be headed by those faint of heart! This is a series of short stories including some tough guys who rule their world with an iron will and the women that they decide to claim as theirs. Nothing is easy and the guys lean into being bullies, but the women end up getting their men and taming them too. It was a fun read and especially entertaining to be able to go right into the next story in the collection. A great way to get introduced to a series and the author. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

The chemistry between the main characters was impeccable and the spice was steamy 🥵 The banter throughout the book had me laughing out loud and smiling constantly. I truly hope there will be more to this series soon.

This book contains 3 full novels and 2 novella: Wicked Devil, Savage Devil and Cruel Devil, Mischief Managed and Holiday Sext. A terrific set of books about Sun Valley High Devils! Bullies, bad-boy athlete, one-night stand, brother's best friend... they are all there. The women are just as great as the men. Sexy and steamy. Terrific for whenever you want to read some fun and steamy romance.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

This was a really good set of stories. The fact that the books basically take place right after each other makes it really easy to stay invested in the story.
All of the characters feel important. None of the side characters feel like afterthoughts which is really nice. That happens way too much.
The only real issue I had was the MMC from book three. He was a bit too much of an overbearing asshole and it made it a little hard to really care about his relationship but everything else in his book was great. Each story had just the right amount of tension.

✨️multi pov
✨️bully romance
✨️sports romance
✨️enemies to lovers
✨️brothers best friend
