Another great book from Collins.

This book is divided into the four seasons.

Each season has a number of activities for your kids to do outside.

The activities contain lots of interesting facts so lots of learning opportunities.

A great book to have on your bookshelf.

This is a really cute book that I think would sit well in our children's outdoors section. As we are a shop in the Cairngorms national park, we get alot of families visiting and our local customers tend to be quite outdoorsy as well.

This book features some fantastic inspiration to get kids, friends, and families into the great outdoors, and having a fantastic time while they do so!

The book is split into sections correlating with the seasons, and each season features a number of outdoor activities that are appropriate for the time of year, these include, but are by no means restricted to, stick games, foraging, scavenger hunts and creating out-door art!

The book is a high quality production with beautiful photographs throughout, I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone, particularly families with children.

My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy.

What a lovely book! I will be purchasing this for my classroom. In a world where children are becoming more and more reliant on computer games, this is a refreshing read and takes children back to basics. Lots of cheap/free ideas for families to do outdoors. The book is split into seasons with lots of lovely ideas to engage children with the outdoors. There are photos and diagrams which help to explain some of the activities.
