With thanks to netgalley
Ghosted was not to be for me, I think I got about 20 minutes into before I switched it off and give up. sorry!

Many thanks to Netgalley, W.W. Crown and the author for the ALC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I feel like I have to say this for every single Sarah Ready book, it is like watching a full on series with drama and tears and laughter and what not. There is love, self discovery, healing, tenderness, amazing loving people surrounding the MCs. In short always a delight.
After listening a good few Sarah Ready books back to back, requesting this book was like not even a question also, this story is so close to a few of my childhood favorite movies and shows, clearly was a no brainer. The book follows the story of Jillian Nejat, who is the one and only dating expert for millions of people who follow her articles. Little do they no, she has an small hiccup, she cannot talk to men (kind of like our Raj from Big Bang Theory), so her dating life being a straight woman is kind of in shambles. Not to mention her bank account and her job.
As everything seems to be on the downfall, it is only normal that her new apartment that seems to be covered in mirrors on every single part of it is comes with free company aka a ghost. This shirtless sexy ghost (only Daniel no surname) has no idea why or how he is there or even that he is dead and also is the only man she seems to be able to talk to. As they struggle to adjust as 'housemates', Daniel decides to help Jillian out with her 'problem' because after all there needs to be some kind of purpose to his existence there and what else can it be.
Never have I had read a romance book that kept me on my toes, not to mention the whole mystery of what, how, where, when plus all the drama and the banter. The book was hilarious and heartfelt. The narrators also did such an amazing job. Will recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun read with a supernatural twist to it.

What you get in this book:
• strangers to friends to lovers
• paranormal (ghost)
• science fiction
• contemporary fiction
This is. cute story with magical elements woven in-such a fun listen! s

Thank you so much for the advance reader's copy of this book. The concept is really cool, and the cover is amazing. The story sounds especially interesting for fans of magical realism. I believe this is the first in a series, and I'm eager to see what the other books will explore.

It was pretty long, but I was able to listen at 3x perfectly fine, so it didn't take up too much time. Sarah did a lovely job. Rob only narrated one chapter, so I don't have any complaints.

I’m still not sure how I feel about this book. This book is quirky PNR in a nutshell and I just don’t think it was what I was in the mood for at the time. However! I liked that this book took a turn I wasn’t expecting and that alone makes me want to give book 2 in this series a shot.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed both of the Sarah Ready books I’ve read, and would not hesitate to pick up other books by this author. I found the characters to be likable and they had good chemistry. I particularly enjoyed Jillian’s character development. I did find it to be a bit repetitive at times. The audiobook narration was good.

🔮 BOOK REVIEW 🔮
Synopsis: Jillian Nejat is the only dating and relationship expert on the planet who is incapable of speaking to men. If they're living, if they're breathing, it's game over. With her bank account at zero, her career a dumpster fire, and her dating life in a ten-year slump, she moves into a tiny, dirt-cheap NYC apartment. Unfortunately, the apartment is already occupied. Daniel (no-last-name) is a sexy, shirtless, six-pack wielding heartthrob who is also...dead. He isn't living. He isn't breathing. He's a ghost. He's also the only man on the planet that Jillian can talk to. Soon, Daniel's convinced that it's his afterlife mission to resurrect Jillian's love life. He knows, if he helps her fall in love then he can move on. Jillian agrees. The last thing she needs is a Lothario ghost haunting her living room. But then, one practice date leads to another, one confession leads to more, and suddenly Jillian fears she's falling for the one man she can never love.
Review: From the very first chapter this book was a hit! Sci-fi references, funny characters, and depth to characters that was complex and unique. The storyline itself also wasn’t something I’d read before or typically heard of, so I never predicted what was to come next. Ultimately I had a really great time reading this book, I loved the fast-paced story, the character growth, and the characters. The only thing I’d change is to include a little more diversity to the characters. Star Trek lovers will love this book. I highly recommend it!
4.5/ 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This is my third Sarah Ready book and she is becoming an auto read author for me. I enjoyed the characters in this one and the banter. I appreciated Jillian's backstory and how her guilt and trauma manifested in an inability to talk to men. I loved how she grows and blossoms through her relationship/friendship with Daniel. There are a few parts that are a bit much (ghost sex?) and a few parts where the second hand embarrassment is rough but overall I enjoyed this one.

This book was a little strange. I think the only way I would finish this is by listening to it. I think if I was physically reading it, I would have stopped multiple times. I guess it just didn't make sense to me

Ghosted by Sarah Ready - thanks to @netgalley and W.W Crown publishers for the free audiobook.
What a fab little romance but with a twist. A paranormal love story where I found myself really rooting for the main characters and it kept me guessing as to how the ghost storyline would be explained.
This novel also explores learning to love and forgive yourself and building confidence and friendships in such a lovely way. It was heart warming and I really enjoyed it.

Ghosted was a very enjoyable read, the narration was beautifully done.
Sarah Ready is vastly becoming a fave.

Thank you to NetGalley and W. W. Crown for my audiobook copy of Ghosted by Sarah Ready. I enjoyed Josh and Gemma so much that I am determined to read as much Sarah Ready as I can. However, I have not read any paranormal romance novels and this one was quite a surprise but not in a good way. I could not wrap my head around the fact that male main character Daniel is dead and that Jillian instantly falls in love with him, like what in the world, he’s dead! He’s a ghost girl!!!!!
I did finish this one but was cringing throughout the book so hard that the old saying fix your face before it stays that way came to mind and I was low key nervous of the wrinkles this book would give me.

Wowie this book was good!
I really enjoyed this story.. its a well narrated audiobook too and kept my attention.
It's quite a beautiful, surreal and magical story and just when I thought I knew what was happening and had predicted the story... wrong... wow I was blown away by this clever plot.
Loved this and highly recommend.

This is the second book by this author that I’ve had the pleasure of reading, and I must say I’m really enjoying her writing style.
While the story didn't fully resonate with me as I'd hoped, it's more a matter of personal preference. There's nothing inherently flawed about it. Typically, I gravitate towards paranormal or magic realism in literature, but in this instance, it slightly detracted from my immersion in the narrative.

I'm so glad I discovered Sarah Ready's books through NetGalley, I enjoyed all the books I read so far and this was no exception.
The romance in this one was cute and I liked all the characters.
I enjoyed the story and how it all works out in the end.
The narrators did a great job.

this was unexpectedly so beautiful. was it unrealistic and outlandish? yes. but was it a beautifully written story that made chest ache? 100%. sarah ready's talent is insane. I also loved the audio performance. it made me feel so much and they brought so much life to it.

Ghosted by Sarah Ready was an amazing read. The plot points took me totally by surprised. I love Ready's writing and plan to dig into her backlist after reading this book. What a gem!

I enjoyed this one! I’ll be honest, I thought the plot was going to be predictable and that Daniel was going to be in a coma or something so when things were finally revealed I actually said “What!?” Jillian was a sweet character but I cringed so bad at the fact people kept setting her up and all she did was smile, nod and awkward chuckle on these dates. Talk about rough. I chuckled a ton at this scenario - like ahaha of course there’s a ghost in her new apartment and of course he is shirtless LOL. Overall, it’s a fun take on the whole I’m falling in love with a ghost haha but the blow up of this one definitely punches you in the feels, be warned.
I went back and forth between the ebook and audiobook for this one but ultimately enjoyed the narration so I did mostly audio!
A huge thanks to W. W. Crown and Netgalley for the ARC and ALC. All opinions are my own.

I love a paranormal romance, and went in completely blind with this book, and I was so delighted to find that it was a sweet romance between Jillian and a ghost named Daniel who resides in her apartment. It was magical and I loved the theme of second chances.
I paired the book with audio and loved the immersive reading style.
*many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review
