So my thoughts on this book are conflicted. The author did a good job of setting up this story, developing the characters, and using suspense to keep the reader hooked. I find it very far fetched that Simon would continue to physically beat anyone he comes into contact with and never have it reported. The signs are very clear on this guy and I find it hard to believe that someone so smart would fall for it. That being said, it did keep me guessing about what was really going on, while also seeming predictable.
