This was a beautifully illustrated graphic novel about the adventures and misadventures of a typical pizza loving kid except Milo isn't typical at all he is a mummy. I really liked tthis graphic novel and found myself laughing out loud at some points (don't recommend at 3am especially if you have neighbours).
Even though this is marketed at middle grade I think young readres would enjoy this one.

This was a delightfully seasonal read for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the different art styles and renditions of Milo Mummy and his friends and family. Milo is a typical pizza loving kid... except he's a mummy. I was entertained by Milo's adventures and misadventures. I laughed out loud at several parts.

If you're in need of fun and Halloween themed graphic novel, check this one out! It's filled with short, snap short stories.

This book is a bounding of multiple smaller comic books or stories. There is no flow from one story to the other. It almost feels like these were graphic novels made from TV episodes. That may be what it is, maybe not I’m not sure. Well, I personally didn’t find the book entertaining or interesting. Personally, I thought it was boring, kids will enjoy this and find the crazy things that the mummy Milo gets into to be entertaining and exciting.

I hadn’t heard of this graphic novel before I found it on Netgalley but the description drew me in and I am so glad that I got a chance to read it. This is the story of your stereotypical American family, divorced parents with only mom remarried. There are 2 stepchildren who actually get along well. The only catch is that the original family members are mummies. Next door to divorced dad lives a terrible wizard who spends a lot of his time with Beetle (the mummy son) and divorced mummy dad. Much hilarity ensues. The situations that this family finds themselves in are absolutely ridiculous and I loved it. I took off one star for lack of consistency in artwork but that was a minor annoyance.

I would like to thank the publisher, author, and Netgalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

This was an adorable graphic novel. I absolutely loved the illustrations.
This is geared towards "middle grade," but both myself and my ten year old son enjoyed this one.

Definitely going to check out any other or future books by Dave Scheidt.

FINISHED: I loved that this was a graphic novel collection of comics, so there was a whole number of different art styles to enjoy! Milo is a mummy who ends up having to fight against a whole bevy of other creatures (and snacks!) to save himself and even the world! This was a great collection full of laughs and bite size stories! Perfect for fans of Looshkin!
