I don't usually read sports novels or hockey romance - but look at me now, reading three hockey books in a row! 😅 I ended my August with Just Don't Fall by Emma St. Clair and started September with Flirtation and Faceoff by Leah Brunner but actually I started reading A Heart Worth Finding before either of those two. Once again I would like to thank Amanda Chaperon, and NetGalley, for the ARC - and for writing another tender and sweet novel about life and love. Both Jessica and Jack had some growing up to do, first during the years between the first and the second time they met, and then, when they finally, by some stroke of luck, got together again they were facing a future which might pull them apart, again.
This novel can be read as a standalone but for the best reading experience I recommend reading Amanda Chaperon's previous books, too. A Heart Worth Finding is a cute, fast and fun read and even though I personally didn't like one of the turns the story took in the end I would highly recommend anything Amanda Chaperon writes!

A Heart worth finding by Amanda Chaperon
Release date: 09/08/23
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“ Souls don’t meet by simple accident.”
“ Yesterday, today, tomorrow, always and forever”
GAH this freakin book! Amanda poured her heart and souls into these characters. There are other books in this series. I jumped right into the series & probably spoiled something for myself. But I WILL be going back and reading the others.
Read if you like:
🩵 right person /wrong time
🩵 second chance romance
🩵 dual pov/ timelines
🩵 hockey romance
🩵 cute nicknames
🩵 hilarious banter
Thank you NetGalley and Amanda for the early copy!

this is such a sweet, loving, funny story! Jessica & Jack are such soulmates, I love their story from start to finish! I love how open Jack is to love & wanting to be in a relationship, and how he didn't let his original heartbreak dampen his spirits or hope in love & happiness. And Jessica is a sweetheart who seems to have trouble believing in long-lasting relationships being able to stand the test of time & space. She originally lets Jack go after Mexico because she doesn't want to do long-distance or take her vacation fling into the real world, and now when the meet and are together again four years later, doesn't want to risk losing each other when they move away after college. They both say they want to figure it out together, but it's easy to see how as college students, the prospect of long distance is terrifying & feels hopeless. Admittedly, Jessica's plans to move do create a large barrier between the two of them, but they are so in love with each other & determined to make it work, I love that they pass the optimism back & forth, keeping each other hopeful in their relationship. I didn't fully understand why it took so long for the resolution at the end to happen because I felt like I saw it coming several chapters back (kinda since the conflict was introduced) but I also appreciate that at their age, with how much hope & determination they have, not just with each other, but with their lives & dreams, it takes so much courage, love, patience, & faith to be able to move forward so dedicated to one another.
Truly a beautiful story!
Thank you for the ARC!!!

Summary: I really enjoyed this sweet story. Two teenagers meet on spring break in Mexico and have this connection that is unforgettable but decide to leave it up to the universe if they will meet again. They find each other years later and discover they have been so close all this time, but both are in relationships.

Review: This is the 3rd book I have read in this series. I had some ups and downs with it ( just like any other book). I liked the book's premise, how they met on vacation and if the world wanted them together they would. I just struggled with the in-between. I felt like I was reading this book all the time and I thought I was flying through it but I also felt like it was taking me forever to read even if it only took me 1 day to fully read
Don't get me wrong I really did like this book just like all the other books in this series they are the best feel-good books and make you believe in the happy endings.
Thank you for staying together that's all I gotta say.
Every person (girl based in my mind) every girl wishes that this would happen to them, at some point they have gone on a vacation and have spotted someone and wanted to see them again.
HEA all the way.

"This was a heart worth finding, a heart worth waiting for, and a heart I would go to the ends of the world to keep."
I didn't realize how much I wanted (needed) Jack and Jessica's love story after I finished Kenzie and Aidens! The dual timeline for the first half was such a fun way to reminisce on Jack and Jessica's past and continue on their journey.
Thank you to Amanda for gifting me with an ARC of this story! I can't wait for it to be shared with everyone else!

Thank you Netgalley and Amanda Chaperon for the copy A Heart Worth Finding and giving me the chance to read and review this book!
This was my first read by Amanda Chaperon
But it was not the first in this book in the series.
I was able to read this book as a stand alone but look forward to reading her other books as well!
A Heart Worth Finding had all my favorite things
Spice, second chance, and a sports romance!
Jessica and Jack met their senior year of high school on spring break trip, their connection and attraction was instant!!
The two start a fling over their vacation and agree to part ways when spring break is over.
As fate would have it, the two run into each other again almost 4 years later and realize they’re attending the same college… They’re also both also in relationships.
I don’t want to give out any spoilers so you’ll have to read to find out what happens next…
But I will say I adored these characters and love how this story was so well written!!

I enjoyed reading this book. It was my first introduction to Amanda Chaperon and I really liked a lot of it: the found family aspect was great, and I loved the way Jack & Jess found (and then refound) each other.
The dynamic in this with the second chance & the right person/wrong time was so well done. Both were at different phases of their lives and it was great to see how they navigated old feelings, 4 years later. I loved the dual timeline and their friend group overall. And I LOVED how life was taking shape to conspire to bring them together time and again. The only thing that fell a bit flat for me was the pacing - it felt a little like it dragged at times, and there was some repetition. All in all, enjoyable and quick read.

first book read on the Kindle! 📱
alright alright alrightttt, this book is a hockey romance - which is a first for me! I'm not sure why hockey romances are so popular - where are the football, basketball, track, etc. romances??? Alas, this book is good for those who love or want to get into:
- right person, wrong time
- second chance romance
- hockey romance
- dual POVs
- dual timelines
overview: Jess and Jake met in Cancun during their spring break senior year in high school. They broke things off at the end of the trip not wanting to be tied down to this young love. Turns out, they run into each other on campus 4 years later as seniors in college. Will sparks fly or is that relationship dead and gone? 🤭
✅ THE GOOD: I loved that Jess and Jake had a strong connection right off the bat and leaned into it.
I loved that there was no third act breakup. I can relate to having dreams that supercede other things in life similar to Jess. ALSO! I love the cultural references: One Tree Hill, The Bachelor, etc. that pop up in the book! I thoroughly enjoyed the drama - the relationships between all of the characters are so intricate and dynamic!
💭 OTHER THOUGHTS: Though it can standalone, it is part of a series. I did not know it was part of a series until after the Acknowledgments (LOL!). That being said, I am not pressed to read another book by the author. I might read the book about Berkley (Jess's older sister), but tbd - I wasn't invested in the other relationships (there are so many couples to keep track of!). Also, I felt that the ending was predictable, which isn't a bad thing, but I probably enjoy books more when I don't see the ending coming.
ALL IN ALL: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars) and 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (3 spice peppers according to romance.io steam score)
Shout out and thank you to NetGalley, Victory Editing Netgalley Co-Op, and Amanda Chaperon for allowing me to read the eARC in exhange for an honest review!!!

i’m not sure this was a book for me! i ended up having to DNF it. the present storyline was so sweet (and why it is getting three stars), but the past storyline was a little hard for me to read. i did love the hockey components (im a suck for hockey romance), and i did like jessica & jack as characters and together. they were sweet. unfortunately, i just dont think this was for me.
thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!

“But…being here? With you? If fate isn’t the force that brought us together, then I don’t know what is.”
This was my first Amanda Chaperon book, and it definitely wont be my last! It was full of heart and so much love. I was swooning over Jack and Jessica's love story, while also cursing the time they spent apart. I loved the Nesta + Cassian and One Tree Hill references. I could tell a book lover wrote this book and it made me so happy!
Just a heads up that this is book four in an interconnected series. I wish I had paid more attention to that before I read this book. So now I just have three other books to add to my tbr, because I loved the dynamic between all the characters in this one. I definitely want to see their stories unfold.
Read if you love:
- right person, wrong time
- second chance romance
- “it’s always been you”
- hockey romance
- hilarious banter between teammates
- cinnamon roll goalie + teacher
- dual POVs
- dual timelines
- third person POV

Wonderful second chance love story. I haven't read the first books in this series, but I enjoyed this anyway. (Although if you have the chance, other readers recommend reading the other books first.)
Jessica and Jack met and connected instantly when they were on spring break their last year of high school, but they both had dreams and plans for the future, so their whirlwind spring break fling was just that: a short fling. Fast forward a few years, and they meet each other again in their senior year in college. Both of them are seeing other people, but their connection is impossible to deny.
This is a fun dual POV, dual timeline second chance romance. I love sports romances, and I am so glad that Jessica didn't need to give up her dreams to let Jack have his. Wonderful writing, beautiful characters, delightful relationships. This is a gem! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced digital reader's copy (ARC) in exchange for an honest review!

"Ultimately, you have to decide if you want familiarity, or...something real. The kind of love that spans miles and years and other relationships, and still finds its way home."
Jack and Jessica meet during their spring break vacation at Cancun. Their connection was immediately, giving them the chance to have a summer romance of their life. Everything was great, until the last day of vacation comes and they decided to go in separate ways, promised each other that, if the universe gives them the chance to find each other again, they will try a relationship.
Three years later, they see each other again in a college party, finding out that for the last three years both were in the same place, without know it. There are so many connection between them that it is a surprise that they never meet before, but it was because they weren't ready until now.
This is a love story about how meet the right person in the wrong moment is never the ned of that relationship. How put your dreams over the possibility of have the best relationship is not a bad move when you're sure that this is not your time.
Im not going to lie and said that I love everything about the book. There were moments where I wanted to scream too Jessica to stop pushing Jack away, but at the same time I wanted to hug her for the only reason that the was always following her dreams.
Jack. Dear Jack. He stole my heart from the first moment I read about him. I loved how he scarifies everything for her. How his love was so huge that he would do everything for her, and he did,
I know this is the 4th book of this serie, but it was not necessary to read the other ones to read this one, but for sure I added them to my tar.
Thank you to NetGalley, Amanda Chaperon and Victory Editing Co-op for the opportunity to read this ARC

3.5 ⭐️ / This was a sweet story with two likable characters. Read if you like: It’s always been you • Insta-love-ish• Second chance • Hockey romance • College • Dual POV • Now & then timeline • Friend group •
Synopsis: When Jack & Jessica meet on their spring break in Mexico their senior year of high school, they have an instant connection. They agree to not share contact info and not look for each other after their trip. Fast forward to their senior year of college and they find each other again. As timing would have it, they are both in other relationships when they reconnect.
These two have major chemistry and they don’t try to hide it. They also experience many obstacles to get to their HEA. I found myself getting confused with the friend group/side characters, but this is an interconnected standalone so that’s on me.
Favorite part: when Jack tells his friends he’s going to get his girl back & they realize who he is talking about.
Thank you to Netgalley, Victory Editing Netgalley Co-Op and Amanda Chaperone for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This was my second book by Amanda Chaperon and I absolutely loved it!
A Heart Worth Finding by Amanda Chaperon was such a cute read, the characters are so relatable and easy to root for and love!
The characters were amazing. Jack and Jessica were so great together.
I loved their relationship so much. And thought they had great chemistry.
The writing was fantastic. Amanda Chaperon kept me hooked and flipping the pages.
I’m so excited to get caught up with series and see what’s coming next!
"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
Thank you to Amanda Chaperon, Victory Editing, and NetGalley for the eArc in exchange for this review.

this is the second ARC I’ve gotten from this author on NetGallery!
ok.. so… second chance romance and I have a love hate relationship. also, multiple timeline and I have a love hate relationship, which means I was really not in my element from the start! there were just some things that really bugged me, especially almost all of the decisions the main characters made throughout their relationship.
that being said, I DID actually enjoy the book and it was fun to see the crossover of the characters in the last book! Jack is just so sweet 😍 & I love him!
4/5 stars!

3.5/5. This was a sweet read! I really appreciated how all the emotions of the book matched the age of the characters—it was very realistic! This was my first time reading work by Amanda Chaperon, and I will be adding the rest of this series to my TBR!
Synopsis:
Jessica and Jack meet on spring break as seniors in high school. Swept into a whirlwind romance, these two decide to make a pact—if the world brought them together again, they’d try for a real-life relationship. As fate would have it, they did meet again. Despite some entanglements, the chemistry was still very much there between the two. Eventually, the entanglements untangled and Jessica and Jack reunite. Will there relationship go the distance this time around? Read to find out!
I got frustrated with our FMC at times. Our MMC was such a cinnamon roll, though!!!! Overall, just a little long, in my opinion.
Read if you enjoy:
Second Chance Romance
Hockey Romance
Right Person Wrong Time
Found Family
Dual Timeline/POV
Thank you Amanda Chaperon and NetGalley for this ARC Opportunity!

A Heart Worth Finding is so good! I was obsessed and I couldn't stop reading about it. It's been a long time since I've had book that I thought about constantly until I can read it again! Jack and Jess meet in Mexica on a spring break trip and after a rough start to their relationship, they become inseparable. Their chemistry is off the charts and they want to soak up every minute they have together before they leave and go their different ways. They have an amazing week together then they walk away without any details that would allow them to stay in touch. They left that up to fate. Well as fate has it Jessica walks in to a party at Michigan state and see Jake sitting there. Their worlds are flipped upside down when they realize the have a second chance at their love. Wow. I loved everything about this story!!! It was so good! The chemistry was amazing and I loved them getting a second chance!

Once again, I want to thank NetGalley for this wonderful opportunity.
This is the first time I read a book by Amanda, and she did not disappoint.
I will talk briefly about what bothered me in this book, because I still enjoyed my reading whatsoever.
When we were reading the book, we had some sort of double POV, but written in a third person. In my opinion, it is not useful to separate POVs when you write in the third person. Since you’re having an omniscient point of view describing Jack’s POV, and Jessica POV’s as if you were in their heads, it is not useful.
And also in the writing, it was a bit cringe at some times. So it took me out of the reading. But overall, I could still read this book and enjoy it.
Now let’s start.
I usually don’t read the “second chance” trope because it’s either not done well, or very cliché. However, this time it was brought in a way that I liked. The two main characters are in a trope of “right person wrong time” even if for me, it doesn’t exist in real life. I love when it happens in a book.
You can feel their chemistry, that link, that I love, how they care for one another in each page of the book, and it was very enjoyable.
I also loved how they grew through the book and how each character developed in it.
I think I will try to read the other books of this series because it intrigues me to know more about them.

A Heart Worth Finding was a sweet and spicy second-chance college sports romance. It is the fourth book in Amanda Chaperon's For The Love series but also reads very well as a standalone! Jessica Daniels and Jack DeLuca met on spring break in Cancun almost four years ago, and their connection was almost immediate, even if it was just a vacation fling. Now, at Michigan State University, they are dating other people. After they run into each other at an event - they find out the chemistry is still there. Is it their time now for forever? As graduation and real life loom in their future, will they be over before they can even start?
I really enjoy Amanda's books and the tight-knit friend group she has created. There is some miscommunication but it doesn't drag on forever (which is wonderful!) I recommend it to fans of college sports romances and second chances in love.
Thank you Amanda Chaperon and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the advanced reading copy, receipt of which did not impact my review.

This a charming romance story all about the one who got away and a second chance.
Jack and Jessica are great characters. Jack is so sweet and besotted with Jessica. Jessica is strong and loves Jack but is afraid to lose herself and her ambitions. I love that the author reverses traditional roles and it is Jack who makes some sacrifices for the sake of his relationship.
This is a sports romance but the sports is not a major part of the story. The relationship between the characters and the friendships with the side characters are the main focus.
There are a few twists and turns along the way but at its heart this is a story about love and devotion between two characters. It’s sweet and you get a HEA. A simple, gorgeous read.
Thanks to @netgalley and the author for a chance to read and review
