I'm new to crystals and found this book a super resource. The only thing I didn't like was the drawings of the gems, not actual crystals. I just don't know them well enough yet to match mine with what I think is in the picture. The information was abundant, helpful and I'll be referring to this book a lot!

This book is so easy to understand and it is well explained. It is a practical guide to know which crystals fit best for every situation that we can struggle in our daily life. Divided by 'topics' with a little explanation of the crystals that we can use.

Crystals have always interested me so when I saw the title of this one and read the blurb, I knew I had to get my hands on it asap. This is such a wonderful tool to have if crystals and their many properties have ever interested you.

I have seen many crystal books and guides for crystal users because I am a huge crystal fan! This one is really pretty, but also gave some great information that helped it feel much more “new” than the average guide! I’d definitely suggest this one for crystal lovers and newbies alike!

I absolutely loved reading this book. I was completely drawn into the topic and could not stop reading it.

I really found this book to be a useful tool in helping me along my Crystal journey: I appreciated how the book was organised and showed crystals depending on purpose or need. It was a great starter for a crystal healing journey. Being able to note which are the most popular and useful crystals and seeing the varying forms in which they can be found. The charts at the back of the book were really helpful and each description of the crystal and it’s benefits were great to start developing my understanding of crystals and their uses and what I will need to build on in the future.

This was a great beginner guide to a large variety of crystals, very handy to have in one's library. The images were drawings and not actual pictures of the crystals, but they were well done in my opinon.

I LOVE books about crystals and this seems like a book right up my alley. I love the illustrations of the crystals, the design of the book, and the detail information about the crystals. It answers a lot of questions that other crystal books don't. Will definitely buy it for my book shelf.

The only thing that would make this book better is if they had photos of the crystals rather than illustrations but it's easy enough to Google so therefore does not affect my 5 star rating!

This book is great! Over the past few years, I started looking into crystal. I have brought a few in the past years. The book has great information but the only thing that was disappointing was the pictures were drawing and not actual images of the crystals.

Practical Crystals by Kathy Banegas is a comprehensive book covering what crystals are best for what practices and it's a very user-friendly book.

There are not actual photos of crystals just art but it is so well done that one can have a good idea of the color of the crystal but I would have preferred photos. It does feel a bit textbookish and not a coffee gift book but as the title states it is practical.

I loved the format and all the chapters cover emotional healing and mood, physical well-being, spiritual healing, moon phases and seasons, special occasions, careers, and practical crystal grids.
