I only had 57 pages in the preview book I read, its supposed to have 207, so I did not get all the stories, or enough stories to give it the full review.

Generally ok but very simplistic. If I am reading about crime etc .. I wish to know more in depth details if possible, to gain more insight, for example, theory to why it has been committed, evidence found and punishment given .

This is a true crime book about a detective inspector from London and his stories. The story seem to be set in the 1980s and 90s and they rained from a hit and run with the horse and buggy murder and many more interesting tales. I did find some of the writing stilted and dated but I myself love a historical book that was written in the time and place because it gives such an authentic feel to the narrative and although some of the things in this book like saying homosexual have the most vicious murders seemed a bit stereotypical… If that’s the word but as I said it was written at the time being discussed so I’m assuming it’s par for the course. in any event I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommended for any True Crime fan. I want to thank the publisher AnNet Galley for my free Ark copy please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Some of these stories are quite interesting but the details are very variable and the writing style is not very polished, making it less enjoyable to read.
