I am a huge C.L Taylor fan and this book did not disappoint. It is been very well written and addresses a very serious crime that can be easily ignored. This book sheds light on this and will hopefully encourage stalking to be taken more seriously. Even though the storyline is fiction the underlying message is very real.
Thank you to C.L Taylor and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A nail biting and thrilling read.
I loved the tension, the way you were made to second guess every character. Even until the end, you were left being pushed and pulled in all directions.
I loved the twist! I wasn't sure what to think of some characters, it was so clever the way you were suddenly sent into a tail spin and the plot blew apart again, leaving you feeling like you'd been part of it all by the end!

Ooft the opening chapter! A whatsapp group of people - all joined together by one thing, being survivors of stalkers. When the unthinkable happens to one of them the group feel they need to take matters into their own hands. Pinging between messages in the Whatsapp group to happenings in their actual lives we follow the four, Alexandra, Lucy, Bridget, River as they try to take back control and their lives before their stalker(s) strike.

A murder, horrific stalkers, secrets, lies, coercion, gaslighting, the horrible feeling of being stalked, watched, cat and mouse. A constant threat looming and they are all potential targets, I did like the way the book kept you guessing but I also got frustrated and screamed NOOOOOOOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING a few times. Don't do that, oh no why why why.

It is pretty shocking and eye opening, I think when you read the end note from the author about her experiences and know the book is written by someone who went through some of this it hits different. Claustrophic and eerie at parts, you are kept intrigued/hooked and even shocked at parts, 4/5 from me.

Alexandra, Bridget, River, Lucy, and Natalie are 5 friends who wish they'd never met because the only thing they have in common is that they're all being stalked. When one of their group is murdered they all realise their lives could end just as brutally, and then whilst attending the funeral, they receive a warning that one of them will die in 10 days. With all of them constantly on edge, they know they don't want to be victims anymore and know they need to get revenge, and sometimes the only way to stop a stalker is to become one yourself.

This was so gripping and fast-paced that I was hooked from the first page. This book will fill you with dread the farther in you get and was honestly terrifying at times. This is full of twists and turns, and C.L Taylor is a very good storyteller. Highly recommend.

I am sorry to say that i didnt finish this one - I didnt like it at all
The characters where hard to like, there where too many POVs and couples to try and keep up with and the story was so far fetched i couldnt concentrate long enough to enjoy it. I hope this author has success with others with this book but it just wasnt for me

2 stars

Just finished this book and CL Taylor has done it again. A well written book, had me suspecting everyone and trusting no one.
The characters were well written and each had their qualities and flaws and I didn’t know who to trust.
Whilst I did t always agree with their actions I could understand why they did what they did.

Fantastic rea

The story centers around four friends who originally connected through an online support group for stalking victims. When the group and its members begin receiving threats, they band together in real life to uncover who wants them dead. The plot is filled with unexpected twists and turns, and I was particularly impressed by the surprising ending. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy psychological thrillers with unreliable narrators!

This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and I would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

Wow, the shocking climax of this story left me reeling. Reading about people who have had their lives destroyed by a stalker was always going to be a tense, emotive story but I could not have even imagined just how harrowing it would be. The author really evoked the terror felt by each of the victims, the feeling that they will never be safe while there stalker is out there. This made it all the more unthinkable when the facts and the identity of the person threatening the group came to light. You'll become so involved in this story that you will have to keep reminding yourself to breathe.

The opening chapter to 'Every Move You Make' was one of the most chilling openings to a book that I've read and was a great introduction to a book that's all about stalking and stalkers. Five stalking victims set up a self-help support group, comparing stories and encouraging each other to take small steps towards freedom. When one of their group is brutally killed by her stalker, the group members receive a message hinting that one of them will be next, and it will only be a matter of days.
The group decide to take matters into their own hands, wondering if they can find who is behind the threats, before its too late for them all?
Some marvellously twisted plot lines and devious story-telling made this a book that was impossible to put down.

Every Move You Make" by C.L. Taylor is a brilliantly crafted psychological thriller that manages to keep you at the edge of your seat from start to finish. As someone who appreciates a well-rounded narrative, I found the completeness of Taylor's plot deeply satisfying. The author skillfully tied up every loose end, including some I hadn't even noticed, leaving a sense of thorough fulfillment.

Taylor's ability to weave suspense is noteworthy. The story revolves around four individuals—Alex, Lucy, River, and Bridget—who are bound by their harrowing experiences with stalkers. This setup ensures a tense and engaging narrative, making it nearly impossible to predict the next turn. Each character's story is presented in dedicated chapters, which, although sometimes confusing, adds depth to the complex web of their lives intertwined by fear and suspicion.

What truly elevates the book is Taylor's nuanced portrayal of stalking, enriched by her personal insights shared in a note at the end. Her treatment of the theme is both sensitive and informed, allowing the psychological complexities of stalking to unfold without preaching.

The novel's pacing is well-calculated, with breathers strategically placed between revelations, giving readers a moment to ponder before plunging back into the thick of suspense. The twist at the end is as shocking as it is logical, capped with a touching scene that resonates long after the book is closed.

Although at times the plot requires a suspension of disbelief, and the multitude of characters can be overwhelming, "Every Move You Make" is a commendable thriller that combines emotion, suspense, and a poignant personal touch from the author. It's a definite recommend for those who enjoy a story that keeps guessing and the heart racing.

This book had me stressing! The first chapter started out with a bang, with our introduction to Natalie and the group of friends she had made over dealing with their trauma due to being stalked. There were a lot of characters, between the group of friends, their stalkers, and family members/significant others. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with who is who. There were several twists in this book and just when I thought I had figured things out, something change.

I was super excited to read Every Move you Make from author C.L. Taylor but for me I found it quite confusing and slightly rushed.

I love the authors' previous novels but this one was not for me.

We meet a group of 4 people, all who have come together as they all have a stalker. One of their members has recently been killed by her stalker and the group have had enough and want to take control of their lives.

Each chapter is told by a different member of the group as they set out and plan their taking their lives back. But I was confused as it was so quick moving and each character seemed to lack some depth for my liking.

I think the premise of this novel is just great but not for me at the present.

Thanks to Netgalley, the author and publisher for allowing me a copy of this novel.

What a twisty thriller!

This novel is about a group of people being stalked who band together for support. Support and to help their fellow victims track their stalkers.

After one of the group dies they are in a race to beat the clock. They have received a mysterious threat. One of them will be dead in a few days.

Can this group over come the threat? Will they band together to try and protect themselves ? Who will win? Who will make it out alive?

Thanks for NetGalley and the publisher for this arc!

Actually better than I had expected. There are a lot of characters and it took me a while to sort out who is who and what the connections are between the characters but once I had . There is a lot of suspense and the feelings of being stalked are well described . A twisty plot, though Bridget seemed to have different mindset than the others in the group. The stories are revealed as different chapters are told from the perspective of each of the 4 remaining members of the Whats app group. Some of the reasoning behinfd the stalking is weak, though I do believe that obsession can take over in such cases so that is perhaps irrelevant. Definately a book that gets you thinking about what could happen.

Loved this book. It gives you the horrifying fear and threats a stalker creates in people´s lives and how powerless it can make people feel and steps they sometimes have to take to escape the stalker.

Compulsive reading. Didn´t see who the stalker ended up being......powerful stuff.

Looking forward to the next book.

This was my first C.L Taylor book so I really didn’t know what to expect.

I was very intrigued when I read about the plot. The first half of this book was really good. It was a good pace, I enjoyed the characters and definitely had the creepy factor.
But it went completely off the rails in the second and I’m not sure if it was in a good way haha.

It was absolutely full of twists and turns and I had no guesses about the ending.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC.
