This had some nice moments but overall felt very repetitive and a bit immature. I really wanted the poems to go deeper.

Poetry is so subjective though so I'm sure others may connect with it more than I did!

Diary of an Artist in Love is a sweet collection of poems about love. Each poems was thought provoking and full of emotion. It's been a while since I've read any poetry so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I especially liked that the audiobook was set to music that really helped with the lovely ambience the narrator created. I think my only complaint is how many times the word love was used. I understand that these are poems about love, but it seemed a little excessive. With that being my only complaint I highly recommend this one to poetry lovers.
