I absolutely love a Roberta Kray book, you know exactly what you are going to get, gangland at it's finest. Wow - what a brilliant page turner this had me hooked from the first chapter and kept me invested thoughout. Roberta to keep coming up with these fantastic gripping storylines you simply are wonderful.

Roberta Kray is one of my favourite gangland crime authors and she never disappoints. In this story we have cameo appearances of other characters from previous books that I loved.

Family are meant to stick together unless jealously and greed take over.

The gangland life has its own set of rules. You never know when your cards are marked.

Imagine being disinherited from your fathers will.
Imagine suddenly going from riches to rags.
Imagine having sisters who secretly don’t like you.

3 sisters attend a party given by their father on the eve of his retirement. He gives them an envelope each not to be opened until they leave but given the info that that each hold a share out of his property & business empire.
Rex ( the father ) is annoyed at the response of is younger daughters more timid response and a big row breaks out. The next day Carmen returns to the home and on the advice of her sister packs a bag to lie low for a few days to allow Rex to calm down.
Is the advice wisely given ?

I love books by Roberta Kray and as her others , this one does not disappoint. Great characters to like , and even more characters to not be so keen on !
Gritty yet a great storyline. Loved it .

A bit of a slow start but wow a blinding book. I honestly enjoyed this so much. I love her books.
Would recommend this to anyone who also loves this genre
