An exciting insight into the work, I’m very much intrigued by the characters and looking forward to getting to know them after enjoying the previous trilogy in the series about Wrath. The author never fails to build interesting societies and characters with building tension. Looking forward to reading more.

Thanks to NetGalley for the sampler ARC.

This sampler promises to be a fantastic book once it releases. I am a big fan of the KOTW trilogy so I'm excited to see what happens with another Prince of Hell!! And the fact that there's a competition involved- sign me up!!

It is hard to give a feedback after just 60 pages of eARC sample, so I won’t post it on GoodReads - not untill I grab a full-size copy, but it really looks promising. Gettin Envy’s POV? Excellent choice 🥵. It did not develop much, since as I said before it was just a sample, but im intrigued enough, to read it as soon as it releases.

Loved every second of this teaser and I’m super excited to read the rest. I’m not going to lie, I thought this was the whole book. But one should be so lucky. Bring on October where I get to read the full book!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love Kerri Maniscalco and I love this world she has created. I'm a HUUUUGE fan of her Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy, and Throne of the Fallen is my most anticipated release of the year!

I've only read the sample chapters 1-5 which corresponds to 67 pages as someone else wrote here on Goodreads. Camilla is a strong main lead, resourceful and with a "get out of my way, incompetent people & arrogant men" vibe and I loved it! Envy has already surprised me with his depth that we only get a tiny glimpse of, so I can't wait to read more.

The first 5 chapters only left me wanting this book much more.

/Full review of the entire book will come as soon as I read it. 😂/

Just a few chapter and now I can't wait to read the book!
Prince Envy is playing a deadly game and one of the clues bring him to Camilla, an artist who owns a gallery. I
adored Envy from Kingdom of the Wicked series and loved Camilla just from the five chapters.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me a sampler in exchange for an honest review.

An enjoyable and interesting start to what I am sure will be a fantastic new series from this author. The first few chapters sparked my interest and made me want to read more. I'll be looking out for this one upon release.

This was only the first 5 chapters of Throne of the Fallen, but I am already hooked! I can't wait to get my hands on the full story on October 3rd! I loved Envy in KM's Kingdom series so I am super excited! I'm also really intrigued by Camilla's character!

I was hesitant to read this book because I didn’t really enjoy the last book of the KOTW trilogy, but I’m glad I gave this a chance. I read the first chapters and although I wasn’t engrossed right away, byt the time I had reached the end of the extract, I really wanted to continue.
Camilla is a character that I know I will love and I’m already rooting for her and Envy. I’m extremely intrigued by the game and I can’t wait to read more about this!

I will complete my review once I have read the entire book.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for granting me an early 5 chapter sampler, in exchange for an honest review.

Requested this knowing I didn’t like a previous book by this author, set in the same exact world, but i’m all for giving second chances so wanted to try this one when I found out it was her adult debut.

Well i’m afraid to tell you this one didn’t do it for me either. I think the author definitely has the potential to write extremely intriguing stories, but it just seems to miss the mark (for me). For the second time while reading one of her books I just found myself wanting to skip portions, just to get it over with already (and this was only a five chapter sample). Maniscalco definitely has an eye for writing details but seems to only focus on the wrong details. I was treated with a page long description of the fmc’s art gallery but I haven’t got a single clue what the characters are even supposed to look like. Finished this one maybe 10 minutes ago and I have already forgotten all of the character’s names (yes the fmc’s one aswell) except for Envy’s.

I sincerely hope my friends that are eagerly anticipating this book will end up adoring this, but I will have to sit this one out.

If there's the name of Kerri Maniscalco on a book, I'll read it!
So, I've 67 pages, but I definitely need more.
I need all the book right now.

Kerri Maniscalco's writing has a certain quality to it that makes it easy to be immersed in a story and want to keep reading it, despite this being a mere sampler, and to put it mildly I am enchanted. I simply can’t wait enough to read the full book already!

I love Kerri Maniscalco's books a lot! In particular I am madly smitten with the "Kingdom of the Wicked" trilogy!

I have a huge crush on Wrath, BUT among the various Princes of Hell, Envy has always been the one to intrigue me the most (followed very closely by Pride and Lust). So the idea of having a book about Envy, complete with his pov, made me scream out loud! Because yes, "Throne of the Fallen" is a spin-off adult fantasy romance centered on Envy and Camilla! A book I've been eagerly awaiting since its announcement and for which, thanks to this sample, I have even more eagerness!

Envy and Camilla, protagonists with their respective third person povs, have captivated me with just these five chapters (plus the prologue) alone! Okay, actually they had captured me even before I read the extract, on trust, but now that I have read it I can confirm my high interest! The Prince of Envy is a charming, cocky, manipulative, tempting and cunning man who wears many masks, under which he hides secrets and perhaps some fragility. Camilla is a painter, owner of an art gallery, plagued by money problems and in debt to a notorious rake due to a desperate mistake. A determined, proud and intelligent woman, who loves the idea of being free from social conventions.

When a deadly game leads Envy into Camilla's gallery, sparks fly immediately. I know, I simply know, that they will give me great joys! These few interactions were enough for me to melt! The chemistry between them is really hot! Between sizzling banter and heated teasing, I went into a swoon! Help, I need to read more of Envy and Camilla!

I really need to read Throne of the Fallen and can't wait for release day to devour it completely!

Thank you to the Publisher and NetGalley for giving me a sampler of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A secret letter and feather signals the beginning of a deadly game for the Prince of Envy and his court. Rules must be followed or consequences may include up to death. One of the clues brings the Prince of Envy to Camilla who is not easily fooled by a pretty face, but when he stalks like a wolf and stares with Emerald eyes she’s feeling a flush of heat.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this sampler in exchange for an honest review.
