Loved it! Have loved every Catherine Walsh book I have been reading these past years and this book didn't dissapoint either. Very heartwarming, hilarious and a cute romance book.

Catherine Walsh does it again! I love the way she writes, and this Christmas story was exactly what I needed: fun, cozy, and full of that romantic comedy vibe with snow and nice tension between the characters.
It's short, but it delivers everything — chemistry, humor, and that warm feeling in your heart. I read it smiling from start to finish. If you love Christmas stories with charismatic characters and a touch of chaos (in a good way), Snowed In will embrace you.
Catherine is officially my comfort author for the Christmas season. 💫🎄

Thank you for the ARC! Sadly unable to read as this was downloaded onto an old device I no longer have access to and the book has since been archived.

Dang! This was not was I expecting and I loved every minute of it! Dual POV, runaway bride, fake dating, friends to lovers, and a small town setting, hit all the check boxes. Loved reading this around the holidays. Highly recommend!

Megan left her fiance on their wedding day some years ago and has been enjoying her life in Dublin ever since. A chance encounter with Christian, a man from her home town, leads to a fake dating situation over the holidays.
This was an enjoyable enough read, but nothing special or particularly memorable. Megan and Christian are not deeply drawn characters, and their relationships (with each other and other characters) reflect this. Everything felt pretty surface level.
I thought the settings were the standout feature of the book. I enjoyed seeing their home town and I could clearly picture the bar and cabin scenes. It was definitely wintery, but I wanted more holiday.
Overall, it's not a bad book, and it's a fine way to pass some time if you're looking for a wintery romance.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this new novel.
A winter romance that's nice to be entertained by but nothing I'll remember next year, unfortunately.

Loved this book, characters were likeable and relatable. Easy reading which kept the reader entertained, love fake dating stories
Recommended.
Thank you to Netgalley, Bookoutre, and Catherine Walsh for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you NetGalley and Booktoure for this advanced copy.
I absolutely devoured this book!! I loved the chemistry between Megan and Christian — their communication, care for one another, playfulness … everything!
I read this back to back with another “Christmas road trip” story so the two are blending together in my head a little bit, but I finished this one in a day, and I just loved it!
I also forgot that this novel is #2 in a series, and I did not read the first one. Thankfully that didn’t impact my enjoyment, and I’m looking forward to going back and reading the first one.

Snowed In was the perfect holiday read this December! I love a good fake dating story, and this one was packed full of humor, warmth, and great chemistry! I loved both the FMC and MMC, and I also felt that Walsh did a wonderful job developing her cast of supporting characters. (I realized only after completing this book that it is technically a companion novel to Walsh's "Holiday Romance", but it's worth noting that Snowed In can absolutely stand on its own.) I definitely want to go back and read Holiday Romance now, too.
I alternated between the digital ARC of this book (thank you NetGalley!) and the audiobook, and I highly recommend the audio format, because the narrator's Irish accents truly brought the story to life.

Couldn’t stop reading this one and read it in one day! Although I’m not normally a romance reader, whatever Walsh writes I will read. I love these Christmas romcoms for a little light, cozy reading around this time of year. So fun!

I couldn’t get into this book or connect with the characters. The story seems like it’s been told before and it’s not well written.

“Snowed In” follows Megan, a reluctant returnee to her quaint Irish village, five years after leaving her ex-fiancé at the altar. Cue the arrival of Christian Fitzpatrick—an old classmate with an easy grin and a not-so-easy charm—who proposes a fake relationship to dodge their respective family dramas. Let me tell you: the sparks in this book? Absolutely electric. The banter? Chef’s kiss.
This book had me hooked right away, starting with that short prologue and carrying on into meeting such lovely (and comical) characters—“Snowed In” will be my holiday book of choice from here on out. I mean, a fake dating, dual POV romance packed with some good, ol’ close proximity? Um, yeah, count me in.
Between the setting of the story and the storytelling itself, I’m not sure what I loved more. I would highly recommend this read if you’re looking for a light, funny, holiday-centric read.

Such a cute book which I adored!
Megan is dreading going home for the holidays! It’s her first time back since she left her fiance at the alter, didn’t tell anyone and moved to Dublin. She’s fed up of the drama and just wants an easy holiday. Christian is also fed up of being on his own every Christmas, especially as his family are all coupled up and keep giving him puppy dog eyes! That’s until Christian and Megan bump into each other in a pub in Dublin and their plan starts to take place.
There’s nothing better than a feel good Christmas read during the holidays. Even though the storyline was predictable, I adored them both and was so glad for a happy ending. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to read more from Catherine.

Years after she left her fiancé at the alter, Megan is preparing to return home for Christmas…a social pariah who much of the town hates for breaking the heart of the golden boy. Meanwhile, reformed “bad boy” Christian is also dreading a return home for the holidays. When a chance encounter at the bar reunited Megan and Christian, they decide to fake a relationship to smooth things over with parents and friends. But even when playing pretend, it’s hard to deny their chemistry — but even that comes into question when Megan comes face to face with her ex fiancé.
This was a cute fake dating romance that had such an exciting first chapter that I couldn’t put it down after.
Thank you to Bookouture for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest (and very late) review.

Overall, this book is a heartwarming journey that captures the essence of romance, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to lose themselves in a love story. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the genre or just looking for a feel-good read, this novel is sure to leave you with a smile.

I thought this book was really cute! I enjoyed it and it’s really gearing me up for the colder New England weather!

I absolutely loved this book! It was cute, and cosy and perfect for the holiday season.
The characters were well-rounded and had great chemistry and I loved the storyline.
I’ll definitely look out for more books by this author in the future.

I liked Christopher and Megan. The storyline dragged in some spots. There was so much potential to correct a strong fake dating romance. Even though I liked them together, it went too quickly from to people who knew each other in the past to them in love. Especially since Megan appeared to not have healed from her past.
Overall, I liked Snowed In but didn’t absolutely love it.

I read Holiday Romance in 2022 and adored it, so I was so excited to get another holiday book from Catherine Walsh and I loved this one too! Fake dating at its best. Christian and Megan had chemistry and connection and the sweetest and swooniest moments. I loved seeing past characters and all the goodness of a small town in Ireland! It just made my holiday loving heart so happy!

I love this book! It was sweet, it was cozy, and it was everything the holidays need… As long as your list includes the same things as mine. Like fake dating! I love fake dating! I love watching two people fall in love, while trying not to fall in love, while keeping that love.secret. It’s swoon gold!
This is my second Catherine Walsh book and now I’m hooked. Read for the first time 10/25/23 and forgot to review. (Tired, spacey mom of two,. Sometimes it happens.) Gave it a reread this week and loved it just as much, if not more! Thank you for writing characters worth rooting for..
Thank you, NetGalley and Bookouture!!
