Well what can I say...... apart from.yes yes and yes, I love the continued stories of Kim Stone along with the team. Long may they continue.
I never get tired of saying this, but I love that I'm always still guessing and shocked when killer is revealed, testament to the continued skill of Angela Marsons story telling

It is hard to believe that this is the nineteenth book in the series featuring Detective Kim Stone and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Kim and her team are under pressure at the moment as they realise that Stacey, one of their colleagues, is struggling with some personal issues but won’t talk about it. Meanwhile Kim is called out to investigate the body of a man that has been discovered. But to her amazement she finds that the man is still alive but dies on the way to hospital. What is puzzling is that he was found as though his body had been staged with his arms above his head and his legs apart. When Kim and the team trace the man and investigate his past they discover that he had attacked his girlfriend when he was a teenager and was placed in a remand home. Another man is found close to death and his body had also been staged in the same way. It comes to light that both of them were part of a group of six who had all committed similar crimes as teenagers and were all in the same home. Someone must be tracking them down but Kim has to discover the identities of the other four before the killer strikes again. As well as this storyline Stacey finally reveals her secret anguish and that causes tension in the team. This is another compulsive and gripping read, with a great plot and such interesting characters. A great addition to the series I could not put it down.
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Another absolute winner from Angela Marsons with her Detective Kim Stone series.

Never did I think when I started the series that all these books later, the experience would still feel as fresh as that first book.

If you haven't read any of these books, you are missing out.

What an emotional read this was and very topical at the moment.

A killer is at large and it's proving difficult for Kim Stone and her team to draw links between the victims and to get a handle on who has motive. The nature of the deaths is intriguing and was a brilliant hook.
As usual Kim struggles to cope with the range of emotions she's faced with and despite Bryant's help, this emotive obstacle might prove to high for Kim to overcome.
Well plotted, well researched and edge of the seat writing. Loved it

Not what I was expecting, but still a good story. When I read the blurb, I thought the story was going to go in a different direction. I like this version better than what I was expecting. My only negative is the pacing of the story. I prefer faster paced stories. Great characters, interesting plot, and criminal mischief. What more can you ask for?

Another excellent instalment into the Kim Stone series. 19 books in and still going strong!

Bad Blood follows Kim and her teams investigation into the murders of adult men who were once teenage offenders. And if that isn’t bad enough, the clock is ticking as the killer takes to social media to boast their kills.

This book explores vigilantes, criminal rehabilitation and the rate of reoffending. A great instalment which can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone and introduction into this great series.

This is another one of my favorite series and I look forward to the next book when it releases. The author does a great job of weaving a continuous story throughout all the books, which I really enjoy the character development that has occurred, it makes me feel like I know all of the characters and that they are real.
I'm amazed with all the plot lines that are created and how the author makes it all makes sense at the end, it's really remarkable.
I love this series so much and can't wait until the next one comes out, it's a guaranteed winner!

Marsons is a one click author for me, she never disappoints and I can't wait. for the next book. Each story fascinates me with both the depth of her imagination and the ability to keep the characters vivid and alive. I love Kim Stone and can't wait to see what she gets up to in the next book.

The book is about loyalty and generaly relationship in different groups. It was not an usual book solving a crime mystery and for me it looked less attractive than other same author's books

#BadBlood #NetGalley Book 19 in the series but still as fresh as book 1!! I really love the DI Kim Stone series. She is a strong character with a great team behind her. It can be read as a standalone but if you want to know more about the backgrounds of Kim, Boyd, Penn Stacey etc go back and start at book 1. Fast paced with plenty of action and twists and turns. Another 5 star read from Angela Marsons!

DI Kim Stone series is probably my favorite series with a strong, female detective lead. I am always excited to see a new book come out. Bad Blood is the 19th book in the series and it did not disappoint. It's best to read the previous book because it does reference one of the storylines from it. This story is well put together and makes for dynamic reading. As always, there are so many twists and turns so that you can never figure out the who done it until the very end when it's revealed to all.
I would recommend this whole series to anyone who enjoys mysteries and thrillers.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and Angela Marsons for an ARC of "Bad Blood" in exchange for an honest review.

Followed the Kim Stone series all the way through and loved every book and this one is no exception. I thought the plot was interesting and enjoyed catching up with the different characters lives and finding out how they were getting on. I was particularly interested to see how the Stacey storyline panned out as I love her and Kim's friendship. Looking forward to the next one.

This book picks up two months after the last book. There is an element from it that is brought forward into this one. While reading the previous isn't necessary, readers will likely get a bit more out of this one of they do.

Kim Stone and her team face unique crime scenes this time around. It starts with a person being declared dead only to pop to life again. Though not for long. Sadly, not for long enough for Kim or her team to ask the victim who did this to them.

They soon discover the victim was drugged with a substance that is extremely fatal. But while they are still trying to figure out motive, there's another victim. And if a social media taunt is to be trusted, their killer had no plans of stopping until they take out six targets. But who are they, and where do Kim and her team even start?

It's certainly a race against the clock to piece together all the clues. With a twist you'll never see coming, will Kim or one of her team pay the ultimate price?

Bad Blood is another page-turning addition to a bestselling crime series.
