This is a nice middle-grade sports fiction title for the soccer-loving kids in your life! I wanted to review this title because there are not many middle-grade sports books coming out anymore, and certainly not focused on soccer. A great story of friendship, teamwork, and sports!

This was a fun read. I think it’s a great middle grade book. I enjoyed learning about Rocky and her experiences with soccer. I hope to read more in this series, and I think kids will love it too! Thank you for sharing.

I loved this book, I hadn’t met Rocky before but I definitely want to hear more from her. I teach a lot of girls who love football so it is a book I will be recommending. A really positive message but bringing in some of the complexities of being part of a team.

Tale of family and friendship. This is about Rocky who has a dream of being the best soccer player. Rocky juggles with responsibilities, guilt and desire. A small step towards her passion and what Rocky prioritizes are the main themes of the book. Her relationship with her mother and her friends are deeply showcased. The mind of the young adult and her world are so beautifully written for us. Enjoyable!
