Conspiracies of World War II was a fascinating account. It was an interesting way of conveying this section of history. While the subject matter is incapable of being a fun read, this setup was engaging and was paced in a way that made reading difficult situations easier. The short-form stylization helped me avoid getting bogged down with such heavy subject matter. This area of history isn't my expertise, so all but the most prevalent conspiracy theories were new to me. I appreciate how the author approached the subject matter respectfully but unflinchingly, not mincing words about the treatment of marginalized groups at the time. This was a difficult but rewarding read, and while it is presented as 'conspiracy theories,' there is a lot of undisputed information I wasn't aware of. Overall, it was engaging and made learning about this section of history more approachable.

I got the ebook and the audiobook. I enjoyed the narration of the audiobook (the style reminds me of NPR), but the pictures in the ebook added greatly to the reading experience.

As someone who is obsessed with all things WW2, this book filled in some gaps for me AND brought new things to light that I had no idea about. Read brilliantly, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the sabotage in Hitlers ranks and the theories that Nazis considered the supernatural. A brilliantly informative book that poses valid questions about the War and its manufacturers.

As a military historian, I believe Alexander Macdonald is well placed to consider a few of the conspiracies around World War II. I enjoy a good conspiracy theory; so much history is written from a particular perspective and is rarely entirely accurate. It’s fascinating to consider alternative accounts and this book looks appt a few of the better known events,. It’s well written and well narrated throughout.

Events examined include whether the Americans made a warship invisible, the Nazi Antarctic base, Hitter’s faked death, Pearl Harbour and more. It’s engaging and each scenario is detailed with a different take on many facts. Really enjoyed this.

As some of the blurb says for this book, there were many conspiracies surrounding ww2, assasinations, plots and secret missions abound in this book nd i foind it totally fascinating.

Eric Meyers did a wonderful job in narrating the whole eight hours and twenty nine minutes of this title, i hate to use the word 'entertained' when listening to war tales, but as a person that enjoys hisorical and non fiction content, this was an ideal choice for me.

There is a lot about the Nazi party and Hitler, but there are other stories too Franklin D. Roosevelt for example.

I am not sure if any of these are new and fresh theories,i am not educated in this field of knowledge to comment on that.

This is a clear, concise and well written book, recommend if you like to read such topics.
