This beautifully illustrated book is about two Red Panda sisters called Reena and Rekha. They have very different feelings when it comes to rain.

One sibling is grumpy when the rain falls and is upset that it has stopped her from painting her picture. The other sister adores the rain and always uses it to find the perfect subject for a picture.

When Rekha finds that rainy days are the best days to hunt for rainbows, she gets Reena to help her find another one.

The illustrations are unlike any I have seen before. They are really thoughtful with both muted colours to capture the characters mood as well as vibrant colours to capture the beauty.

Great tale for children to listen to or read independently. The simple language will keep the readers interest.

Fantastic illustrations adorn every page of this book. The storyline is fun but I didn’t find it an easy read aloud - it didn’t flow nicely to me. Seemed to lack a certain something but I’m not sure what.

What a beautiful book! This children's picture book is absolutely gorgeously illustrated in tones of green and yellow, with the two "girls" (in the form of foxes) in red/orange. Until the rainbows make their appearances. The water colors are dreamy and really convey the gloom and damp of the rainy day that Reena hates. Her sister Rekha loves rainy days and goes out to explore. While outside the sun peeks out from behind a cloud and a rainbow appears (and the illustrations brighten accordingly). Rekha goes to drag her unwilling sister out to see the rainbow. Naturally it has disappeared, so they go in search. Along the way the older sister Reena teaches Rekha about rainbows, how they come about and what the colors are called and in which order. At the back of the book are explicit instructions on how to hunt for rainbows and also how to make your own rainbow (with spray from a hose)!

Incredible artwork and lovely story. I cant wait to have it in my hands as i enjoyed the digitsl version so much. Incredible work
