I found this to be enjoyably absurdist rather than filled with horror. Or maybe the horror was it made me laugh. On that note dry humour runs throughout this short book set in a small conservative town where a seeming crisis of confidence leads to …… , well, lots of unusual occurrences and maybe a not disappearance.
