This is such an important book that will be valuable for so many readers. It handles microaggresions and racism in a way that is easy for kids to relate to and understand, and is a joyful celebration of the aspects big and small that make up our identities. I really like that the main character's identity is defined primarily by what he values and not physical characteristics that others think should define him.
