This is the third and final book in the Ascension Cycle trilogy. I thought was was a great conclusion to this series, however I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had reread the first two books before reading this one or if there had been a plot reminder at the start of the book. I read the second book back in 2018 so I was very foggy on the details going into this book and it took me a while to get back into it. Having said that, the world is an interesting one and the characters are all well written.

I need to read the rest of the series but this one was a gripping, fast paced and epic novel.
