Ruby is feisty and fun whilst Luis her billionaire (surprise) husband needs her help to get his pushy parents off his case to get married. She has just lost a promotion at work. They meet in their hotel, Get drunk, get married. He persuades her to pretend to be his wife and in exchange he will help her career.
A fun light hearted romance. Likeable, relatable characters.

Such a cute read. This book was always heading for a happy ending but the journey to get there was great. Ruby as a money grabbing harpy is so good it is cringeworthy and the fact that it gives her her backbone is even better. A definite 10/10.

Waking Up Married To The Billionaire is a short romance novel by Michelle Douglas.
The novel follows Ruby and Luis, who wake up the next day Married after a drunken night in Vegas.
The novel had everything that I could want in a romance novel and more. The story was easy to follow, the setting was sweet and romantic and Ruby and Luis's chemistry was cute.
This is the first book that I have read by the author and it definitely won't be the last. I kept reading until the end. A brilliant novel that I highly recommend.
💖 Thank you to netgalley, Mills and Boon and the author, Michelle Douglas for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I love the fake marriage to real marriage trope so this was right up my street. I loved Ruby and Luis - they seemed made for each other from the start and Claudia and Walter were equally likeable. I found this more sweet and sexy rather than steamy but that was good. The setting was gorgeous too.
