I would like to thank Netgally and the publisher for the ARC of this book in exchange for a honest opinion.

Just like the first in this series I was sucked in by the first page. Loved the dynamics of the team how they all pull together to catch the killer. 5 stars and I can't wait for the next

People feared him. They respected him. But most of all, they obeyed him. And now he’s dead.

Danielle Lewis has just inherited the top spot in the Lewis crime family, following her uncle Ged’s death.

Danielle doesn’t want to be boss. But if she doesn’t step up, someone far worse will.

The reluctant heiress has no interest in carrying her uncle’s empire. She doesn’t want to fight for territory with the rival Flynns. And she certainly doesn’t care about the €5 million stash of cocaine that Ged had hidden just before he died.

But others will do anything to take her place.

Danielle’s more concerned about Ged’s orphaned infant daughter, who she’s been looking after.

Then Danielle is attacked and the baby is taken.

A switch turns on inside Danielle.

Danielle won’t stop until she finds her. She’s in charge. And she will destroy anyone in her way.

Fast paced and a thrill to read. Cannot wait to read more from the author.

Exposed by Casey King was another excellent book, and this is the second book in the excellent The Dublin Thriller series and what another excellent book in this series was. This was a series that is fast paced, with lots of twists and turns throughout which made it had to put this book down, especially as the characters are excellent and so believable.
A great read for the coming holidays. However, I do recommend you read the first book first to find out more about the main character Danielle Lewis and the Flynns family.

Just Brilliant I loved it.

Big thank NetGalley, Joffe Books and the author Casey King for my ARC of Exposed in exchange for an honest review

An excellent read and great follow up to Book 1. Although this can be read as a stand alone, it really is better to read Book 1 Deceit first to fully understand the characters and their history.

I’m a fan of martina Cole and books of that ilk and this did not disappoint, I was thoroughly hooked from the start. I only wish I hadn’t started on book 2 but I’ll be searching for book 1 as soon as I can! Great characters, fantastic story and an Irish setting. Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC copy and an honest review!

A fast paced and gripping crime thriller by Casey King. This is book 2 in the Dublin thriller series and I can’t wait to go back and read book 1.

Danielle’s uncle Ged has just died and now she is on top of his crime family, however Danielle isn’t interested in the families life of crime and would rather put her time and effort into looking after Ged's baby girl. Things go from bad to worse for Danielle who is attacked on her way home from the shops and the baby is snatched away from her.

Instead of worrying about the criminal activity going on beneath her; the millions of pounds worth of drugs hidden away, fighting for territory for her firm Danielle uses her power and her position to find the baby (Chloe) and will stop at nothing to make sure is is found and being looked after and God help anyone who gets in her way.

This book was fast paced, action packed and I was hooked from page one. I even managed to read this book in one sitting and will certainly be looking out for more books by Casey King. Really hoping there will be a third book in this series.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for an advance copy of this book in exchange for this review.

I’d like to thank Joffe Books and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Exposed’ written by Casey King in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Following the death of Ged Lewis, his niece Danielle is now in charge of the family business but she’s not interested in finding the massive haul of drugs that Ged acquired before his death, she just wants to be left alone to look after his and Hazel’s baby daughter. But Dwayne Flynn is intent on taking over Ged’s territory and he means to by destroying whoever stands in his way.

I hadn’t realised that ‘Exposed’ was the second book in the Dublin Thrillers series otherwise I would have read book one first as there were so many characters and so much happening that I couldn’t make sense of and book one would have given me more background knowledge. But as a complete novice to the series I could tell from the start that it was well-written with interesting characters, a gripping plot involving a great deal of gangland bloodshed and criminality, and plenty of twists and turns to keep me involved.

Casey King
Exposed Is the 2nd book by this author I have read.

Dublin Thrillers
1. Deceit (2023)
2. Exposed (2023)

Introduced to the 1st book earlier this year I was interested to see what more the author had to offer.

Gangland crime is what's on offer....
Set in Dublin, Danielle Lewis is now Queen of the firm. 'The family firm' The only thing is Danielle is not really interested in it.
This story was tense and utterly gripping. If you are looking for a new author in this genre then you've just found one.
I would highly recommend and I can't wait to hear of more from this author.

Book Review
Exposed - Casey King

Author Casey King's debut Deceit I adored.
I found it to be such a brilliant start to a right good nitty gritty crimeland series..
Book two in her series Exposed will be out on 14th December 2023.
Danielle Lewis is back and she's not afraid to stand up and be heard. Her uncle Ged has passed the baton on to her after his death as head of the family.
Being left holding the baby isn't what she expected either.
It soon starts to heat up when a consignment of drugs that went missing just before Ged's death still hasn't been found and The Flynn family are hot on their heals in their search for the drugs. Danielle knows it will be disasterous if The Flynn's find them first. It could catapult the Flynns to head of the drug world leaving them to run the show.
Distractions are inevitable with Danielle's ex Jason close by and Dwayne, Birds brother eying up Birds position as head of the family.

Plenty of bodies, drama and chaos..
Don't get too close to anyone in this story as they are almost sure to turn up dead...
Nicely done Casey King, nailing it again for sure. I'm looking forward go book three...

A cracking first chapter followed by a tense, gritty storyline, which I absolutely loved! The characters are complex and numerous but at no point did I find myself losing my place in the story. So many jump scares, and a satisfying tie up at the end. I feel this could easily be read as a standalone, but you would probably be more familiar with the overeating arcs if you read the other books in the series.

This book was exciting and thrilling all at the same time. I read the first book in the series and was very happy to see this 2nd installment coming out so soon after. Casey King is a brilliant writer. I loved every page of this gangland book, and the series. Characters were thoughtful, though imperfect and flawed. Fantastic dialogue and characterization. Pacing was great! Thank you for the early copy.

And takes the baby and gives her to her grandparents. Dwayne is back and he is as nasty as ever. he wants the truck that had the drugs and will stop at nothing to get it. with Lindas help Danielle starts to try sort the business out who attacked her and who can she trust such a twisty read can't wait from more from this author

This is another brilliant read from Casey King. If you like your gangster thrillers, this is one for you. Set in Dublin and featuring Danielle Lewis, a strong, determined character. The plotting and storyline is excellent and there is plenty of suspense until the last page. An excellent read and one I would recommend. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.
