A comprehensive and detailed biography of Franz Fanon, someone whose name I was familiar with but about whom I knew very little. This well-written and thoroughly researched book delves deeply into both the life and the work. Accessible and readable, it’s an enlightening and non-judgemental account of an often controversial figure, and a must-read for anyone interested in Fanon, his writings and his era.

This is a well written nonfiction book on Franz Fanon's life. It gives a good timeline of his life and includes why he is/was so inspirational. The author has included Fanon's work on colonialism and given context for how that linked to Fanon's Life. I would recommend this if you are interested in Franz Fanon's life, I already knew his text The Wretched of The Earth before this book but I knew nothing about Fanon's life until this book.
