This was a really well done children’s sci-fi novel, it had a great story and worked with the concept. The characters felt like they belonged in this world and I enjoyed figuring out what was happening to them. It does a great job in creating a good space opera feeling story and I enjoyed reading this.

The story is fun and relatively light hearted from start to finish. A solid cast of characters and fun-filled space adventure for anyone who reads it. As for my three star rating - a few things..

- This book is perfect for younger teenagers. The language is elementary and the story moves at a quick pace, perfect for kids bouncing around and juggling a million things to do throughout the day. For me personally, it was hard to fight through finishing it because of how young the writing felt.

- The story moves fast and slow all at the same time. The chapters, with the exception of a handful, are only a few pages or so and you can get through it quickly, but the story takes a long time to really develop. That’s a personal opinion of course.

Over all, the book is a fun read and something that would be perfect to give your pre-teen to read for a roadtrip or plane ride. Cheers to Alex Prior for writing a fun story!
