While I somehow ended up downloading them in the wrong order, I am a big fan of the NetGalley reading journals as a way to keep track not only of what you’ve actually read, but also what you had determined you wanted to read at the beginning of the year.

As someone with ADHD, I often make a mental note that I want to or should do something, only to be diverted down a rabbit hole into something else, and then forget what it was I was originally supposed to be doing. And that doesn’t feel great. For things like work and family stuff, I have other tools in place to keep me on track, but this is really handy for doing the same for my reading habits: I have also adapted this to manage my craft projects, so useful has it been for books.

There are also some nice touches in the design, with a different phrase at the beginning of each month, helping mark the transition to the next. They may be a little cheesy, but I’m Gen X and a little cheese sprinkled through something useful is fine by me.

I shall look forward to the next one dropping in December.

I love that this comes in two different colour palettes. Really nice layouts for monthy spreads, so you can do wraps and track your stats.
Also love the bookshelves with genres which was new and interesting.
The bingo card and the alphabet challenges are super fun, I love these aspects of journaling so fun!

A fun and useful digital journal for tracking your reading, reviews, and habits. The layout is clean, customizable, and includes extras like challenges and stickers. It’s great for staying organized and motivated.

I am grateful for this beautiful reading journal. The design is aesthetically pleasing, and it has a plethora of useful features for any book lover. However, I don't understand how to use it, especially as there are elements that appear to be digital, but have no means to fulfill their function, such as adding book covers. I do like the options for print copies... and would love even more if this were an app or could be used wholly digitally.

Some of my favorite features include:

The "Yearly Goals" section which helps set and track reading intentions for the year.

The "My Shelf" and "Audiobook Tracker" pages for keeping a comprehensive list of read books. This is my primary reason for using GoodReads and why my Dad kept a log of books he's read.

The monthly check-in pages are a fantastic way to reflect on reading progress and set new goals.

The "Wrap Up" section, which includes a "Best of the Year Bracket" and a "Favorites of the Year" page are fun ways to summarize one's reading year.

The "Activities" section is packed with engaging challenges like the "A-Z Challenge" and "NetGalley Bingo," which add a fun, interactive element to reading.

This reading journal is an invaluable tool for any book advocate and it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into its creation. Thank you, NetGalley team, for this wonderful resource! However, I'm not sure how to actually utilize this tool.

A functional bonus tool for NetGalley users. While not a traditional read, it provides a structured way to track digital ARCs. No review rating given, as it’s not a narrative work.

This was good just now i have to add it into word or powerpoint or something so i can actually type in it.

I'm not someone that uses reading journal regularity, even if I always tried to stick to it. But since I've got my new tablet and I discovere the NetGalley Reading Journal, I can't stop using it! It's user-friendly, with a clean design and it has everything I need to keep track of my books. And it's free! It has habit trackers, some lovely challenges, check-ins and wrap-ups, and, of course, all the space a reader needs to write down reviews, thoughts and book-info.

A useful tracking tool! I love a reading journal and to be able to have a digital one for my digital galley books feels right. I will say I have yet to figure out how to check off the read/review boxes, but I am so excited to mess around with this further.

Super helpful!! Love the customization of it and it has wonderful templates that offer just enough structure :) very intuitive to use and work with. I also love the sticker feature!

I found it really helpful!!! I keep a book journal where, in addition to reviews, I include drawings and prints, but this one is truly complete and easy to use. I downloaded it and plan to fill it out directly on my iPad. Thank you, NetGalley!!!

I love the idea of this journal, and will definitely print and use the monthly recap sheets to view my progress as a reviewer. I want to utilize the functionality of the other pages, as I find the idea of an annual review of my reading very useful, but my technical skill needs to improve first.

Cant use this because I have nothing for it. I do this this great for people who do and I am jealous.

This is a great starter digital reading journal! There are a few elements I wish were included, but overall, I really like being able to scribble a few quick notes on my iPad in Goodnotes before I write my final book reviews.
