This was a nice gift from NetGalley. I’m going to have to take time to get through the features but looks like it will work well

I ended up using my journal with OneNote and have been liking that more since I prefer the program (and didn't want to pay for a new one they recommended), but the functionality it has in the PDF apps, even just Adobe, was really cool! The linking to sections is awesome.
The color scheme is a bit boring, very muted earthy tones. It looks like and is a coherent theme, but it doesn't really spark joy, you know? It's more calming of a vibe. It's very beige.
I like the different sections it has and the elements for tracking the information on each book. There are book review pages, books read in the full year, a planning / reflection page for each month, some bingo and challenge pages, and general note areas. As a reading journal it does a pretty solid job of including the things I would normally include.
There are aspects that are specifically geared towards NetGalley and ARCs, like including publication date info and such. You can pretty easily just skip those bits if you don't care or they don't apply.
Overall I like this enough that I hope they have one next year, or I might just make a copy and re-use this one for 2025. :)

This is a very detailed journal that obviously required a lot of time and effort to create. I hope to be able to use it to track my 2024 reads.

This was so amazing and thoughtful. I love how this adds in the Netgalley stats for reviews and such as well. What am loving it so far for my new reading journal. THANK YOU!

Great concept but unless you can print it off you can't really use it. Which is a shame because it looks really useful

This was such a fun idea! I can’t wait to use it throughout the year! Way to go NetGalley for coming up with this

I thought it was a great concept but once I downloaded it, I could not interact with it, It saved to my files but if I didn’t want to print, it was not useful for me.

Thank you to NetGalley for the lovely gift. I admit it seems a little overwhelming but as I go through it I am appreciating all of the detail that was included. I love a good digital journal so this was right up my alley! Even better that it was free and all I have to do is leave an honest review - most digital journals like this are more than I'm willing to pay. Thank you!

I do enjoy having a place to track what I’m reading, and thoughts as they come up. I love the “get to know me by these 5 books” approach. I will be using this for 2024!!

Amazing idea but unless you have a ipad its a bit pointless but their efforts are nice and maybe one day i'll be able to use it! There are plenty of pages filled with a lot of content including reviews and goal setting pages. It's a nice way to keep organised with your reading for the year. You need a pdf editor to use this, they recommend two softwares to this but one is apple exclusive and the other just says unavailable on my tablet, phone and chromebook so not sure what's wrong with that one!

I don’t appreciate having to give feedback on what was supposed to be a gift. Kinda defeats the purpose if you make us work for a gift.

Nice but trying to understand all of the categories will take time for me. I work full time and this seems like a lot of work so some parts I will use others not so much. I love to read and leave reviews.

I have not really used this journal but did take a good look at it. It is laid out in a very intuitive way, which works. I like the month by month and the book review sections. I also like the quote sections, so this journal can be used as a commonplace book as well.
That said, I probably won't use it, because I find it easier to use a platform like Goodreads, where the books are already set up for me. My biggest obstacle to this kind of journal is the time needed to use it properly.

I really love the idea of a reading journal. This one allows you to be creative without you having to be creative. I lots of times struggle on how to approach a reading journal or cool layouts. This one does it for you.

For those interested in keeping track of their read books this is a great little digital journal. personally I read too many, so no time to keep track, but for younger readers it will help

This is a lovely gift from NetGalley and a nice option for those who are used to journaling electronically using an iPad or similar. It’s a nice design.
Personally, I don’t journal on my iPad so probably won’t use the journal. For me, it’s too much of a faff to insert book cover images and try to edit the details for each book I’ve read.
I’m not sure if it’s possible, but it would be nice to see a way to link NetGalley reviews to the journal e.g. an option to send to journal and automatically have the star rating, book cover, dates and review transferred over.
I’ll stick to using GoodReads to track my books but I’m sure this journal will be useful for many people.

This was free from netgalley and now I have to write a review, if I'd known that I wouldn't have downloaded it

Nice template. It was easy to download and start using. The color palette is perfect can wait to look back to the end of the year to see will the work I have done in here

Nice work and thank you for the gift! Nice work and thank you for the gift! It was an unexpected surprise.

This was a cute gift. Easy to use. I like the colors chosen. The clipper is not over the top. It was thoughtful to send to users. Thank you.
