I’m still trying to navigate my way through this and learn all of its benefits, but if it does everything it promised to do, this is going to be a nifty and fun way to record my books. Can’t wait to really dig in!

This reading journal is amazing!! It it such a fun way to keep track of your reading. There are so many unique options. I like how you can pick and choose what you want to use. The book is divided by months so you can record your books for each month. There is a place to put the picture of the book and then all of the information about the book including the title, author, and rating. You can even put notes about the books. There is a Tbr section, so you can keep track of the books you want to read. I can’t wait to see this after a year’s worth of books!!! Amazing!!!

The NetGalley Reading Journal is just what I was looking for! It's early January right now, and I've already begun to track my 2024 ARCs with it, and it's already proving both helpful and fun.

The reading journal is a fantastic piece of tracking equipment to keep track with your monthly and yearly reading. I love the fact you can set goals in which you can work towards reading a set amount each month. I would highly recommend this toolkit to those who feel that keeping track of their reading/setting reading goals help achieve their desires target

Been looking for a reading journal for the longest time and I much prefer digital over paper one - means I'm more likely to fill it in!
There's so much useful stuff in it and pages to fill in - nothing is wasted and I definitely will be making the most out of this! Thank you ☺️

I really liked that NetGalley released this reading journal for members. I personally found using it online to be cumbersome and difficult but I was able to use it as inspiration in a way and incorporate several aspects of the journal into my personal journal.

I have been debating getting a reading journal, so I am grateful to have this one from NetGalley!

I’m using it with the Goodnotes app on my iPad, which it works wonderfully with. It has almost all of the basics I was looking for in a reading journal, and a few additional things relevant to NetGalley and ARC reviews specifically. The journal is very clear on how to use it, even for someone new to book journaling.

One of the main characteristics people, including myself, look for in a reading journal is being aesthetically pleasing, which I think this tracker is a bit lacking in. The planner isn’t ugly by any means, but the colors seem dull and dated. Neutrals don’t have to be boring, but these are a tad bit. Most of the spreads are fairly basic, but do get the job done.

One additional gripe I have is that in the section to color in a bookshelf for every genre of book they include, one of the sections is Christian books. This is very limiting to people such as myself that are not Christian, and is ignoring many other religions that might want to read related books. I think this could be fixed by either erasing this category altogether or changing it to a number of things. It is overall not a big deal, however, as I will just write over it and add my own category.

Overall, this is an amazing free resource, and I am very grateful to NetGalley to providing it for its book community. This is a really good introductory basic reading journal, especially if looking for one that will help you be organized if you read a large amount of ARCs.
