I'm definitely going to be using this next year! It's too late now to start, but it seems so fun. My personal favourite thing is the genre colour-in sheet. It gives a different thing for each month to fill in your reviews! Although it only gives four per month, not sure if you can add more?

Anyways, I really love this and I'm so excited to use it next year.

I've been loving my NetGalley reading journal! I use it as a template as well for my physical reading journal and love the month-to-month setup of TBR lists, reading challenges and goals, and book reviews! I also really enjoy the ability to add stickers to this digital journal. I think that sets it apart from some other digital reading journals I've seen in the past. I will continue to use the templates from this journal for my physical journals for years to come. Thank you NetGalley for providing this for your members!

Love having something like this. Glad I got it. I’ve told a few people about it and how it helps with your ratings and tracking of books

As someone who is extremely picky about how I track my reading, this was so fun and refreshing!

I like that it’s a digital place where I can just go back and change my mind (cause it changes a lot with each new book I read!). Definitely will keep it in my arsenal!

This reading journal is such a fun and cute way to keep track of books you’ve read and loved! Highly recommend!

This was a really cool concept, beautifully designed and incredibly comprehensive, but it really required too much manual effort to be useful to me so I never used it.

In all honesty, after downloading it, viewing the instructions and realizing I'd never make the effort, I literally never looked at it again and forgot it existed until I decided to check in on my shelf and clear out items that I hadn't reviewed.

Netgalley should really just work with LibraryThing (they have an API, but they also have a fairly sophisticated import process).

Seems helpful for keeping track of the books. I'd actually love a version that had the Title/Author/Pub Date in addition to a section for Archive date since that's often how I prioritize when I read the books. Otherwise, downloaded easily to Notability.

Great journal for tracking your NetGalley books. I made a PDF copy and copied it to my remarkable 2 tablet, so I can use it like a normal notebook. I use this while I'm reading to compile my thoughts and notes, then reference it again when I'm writing my full reviews. Great toolkit for anyone reviewing books or for someone who just likes being able to organize and track what they read.

I got this more to screen than to use, as I find that I still prefer actual pen & ink to record my own thoughts. But this is well-organized and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

This is a super handy reading journal, that is incredibly well designed. There was a lot of thought put into it that makes it perfect for readers.

The actual design is well balanced with a more nature color palette of green, golds, and browns. It includes multiple contents such as yearly goals, trackers, stickers, challenges, bingo, wrap up bracket, and tabs for the months. There's a lot of versatility and flexibility to fill out how each individual reader wants to allow. There are over 104 pages to potentially fill out.

It's perfect for any book lovers that also love to track their reading outside of platforms like Goodreads or that love journaling. Everything is clickable so I can see it transferring over to GoodNotes or other similar note taking apps. Even if a reader has their own physical reading journal, The NetGalley Reading Journal provides a great framework for ideas and concepts to move over to one's physical journal like the NetGalley Bingo.

Thank you to We Are Bookish!

What a clever, fun idea! I love that you get to use stickers and that there are activities included. The fact that everything is laid out for you is so helpful.

This was not what I was expecting. I can see how this can be useful for some people, but I don't like this much structure when I'm documenting what I read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: NetGalley Reading Journal
NetGalley’s Reading Journal is a handy tool for avid readers, reviewers, and book bloggers to track their reading progress, write reviews, and organize ARCs (advance reader copies). It’s user-friendly, helping keep all your digital reading in one place while encouraging thoughtful reflections.

This journal is an excellent tool for organizing reviews throughout the year. It strikes a lovely balance between structure and flexibility, allowing readers to track their thoughts while leaving plenty of room for creativity. I especially appreciate the thoughtful resources included—there’s clear encouragement to personalize the experience, whether through doodles, quotes, or thematic reflections.
That said, I’d love to see a bit more structure in the review section itself. A guided framework could help prompt deeper, more intentional reflections. Personally, I use an outline that includes:
- Overview
- Positives
- Negatives
- Who would enjoy this
- My rating
I also rely on a checklist of considerations like plot, world-building, and character development to keep my reviews consistent and insightful.
One suggestion: below the basic info section (author, genre, page count, etc.), I’d recommend adding fields for themes, tropes, and tone. These elements not only spark creative thinking but also help readers connect emotionally with their reading experience and identify patterns in their preferences over time.
Overall, this journal is a fantastic resource for readers who want to reflect, organize, and grow throughout their reading journey. With just a few tweaks, it could become an even more powerful tool for cultivating thoughtful, personalized reviews.

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a super handy idea, it’s basically a digital notebook just for your books. You can list what you’re reading, jot down thoughts, and keep track of your progress. There’s space to log each book (title, author, release date, etc.), sections for reviews or notes so you can remember what you thought, and progress trackers to see how much you’ve read over the year. The layouts are organised too, making it easy to sort by genre, release date, or priority.

It’s especially useful if you read a lot of ARCs from NetGalley and want to stay on top of deadlines and feedback without last-minute scrambling. While it’s designed as a digital tool, it works just as well for anyone who prefers writing things down by hand.

I absolutely adore the NetGalley Reading Journal—thank you for creating such a thoughtful, beautifully designed tool! It’s made tracking my reading journey so much more joyful and organized. You’ve truly shown how much you value your readers and their love for books.

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a cute, well-designed tool that makes tracking your reads simple and accessible. I love the idea of having a dedicated space for reviews and reading stats, especially for those who prefer digital organisation. The prompts are clear, the layout is tidy, and it’s easy to use on the go.

That said, I personally prefer a physical reading journal where I can hand-write notes and decorate the pages, so this won’t replace my usual setup. However, for digital users or anyone looking to keep their reading records neat and portable, this is a great option.
