A sweet romance! I love ALL the Christmas books. The warm and cozy feel. This one was no different. It was such a fun escape! Definitely recommend!

Mia MacPherson's father walked out on her family at Christmas when she was a child, which not only tainted the holiday for her, but her view of happily ever after as well. But as an event planner out of a job, she lets her mother convince her to come try and revitalize her hometown's Mistletoe Festival. And if revamping the festival wasn't enough of an undertaking, now she has to convince country music superstar, Jace Knight, to headline a concert.

Jace Knight is trying to salvage his reputation after an ugly public breakup. So he reclutantly agrees to headline a Christmas concert and somehow ends up with the event planner working as his personal assistant.

As things devolve from professional to personal after they are stranded in a snowstorm, both Jace and Mia have to deal with their baggage and embrace what Christmas has in store for them. This is a closed door rom com with just kissing.

I really enjoyed this book. Forced proximity is one of my favorites. Mia is a wonderful character and I love how her friends/family help her with her struggles with the concert. Jace is supposed to be a grump but I thought he was adorable and so sweet!

This was my first Grace Worthington book, and it's nowhere near Christmas times so I was unsure how the vibes of this book would be for me in the middle of March, but boy were the vibes there. I had so much fun with this book, I mean grumpy x sunshine + celebrity romance? Absolute perfection.
I loved Mia’s character, and related a bit to her in the reason she doesn’t like coming home for christmas. And Jace, please if someone knows a Jace , send him my way because I loved every aspect of him, he paired so well with Mias character and watching them fall in love was a pleasant experience.

Atmospheric is the number one adjective to pin on this cute little book. You feel like you are in small town Vermont surrounded by the ambiance of Christmas. I liked Mia and Jace and their journey of both having to open up and face their insecurities to be able to relate to one another. This book really hones in on the main couple with the side characters not getting much time in the story. Which is a fun focused way to approach the plot.

The Mistletoe Makeover has been my favorite book (thus far) in the Renovation Romance Series by Grace Worthington!!!

I couldn’t wait to read this book for two reasons; I am a huge fan of holiday romances and I love Worthington’s writing. While this book delivers on both fronts, it far exceeded my expectations.

Not only does The Mistletoe Makeover feature some of my favorite tropes, but it exemplifies that romances don’t need to be explicit. Mia and Jace’s chased relationship was profoundly beautiful. So much so, that Worthington’s writing hooked me from the very beginning and held my attention until the final sentence of the epilogue.

I could have stayed in Mia and Jace’s story forever. While I was sad to see it end, I was happy with how their story concluded. Being that this is apart of a series I am holding out hope that I will get to catch up with the couple, perhaps as soon as the next book The Roomate Remodel.

This book was adorable! I have not read any Grace Worthington books, and this was so much fun!
I loved watching Mia’s journey as she grew into knowing and understanding more of herself. She had been burned before so many times, and there was a lot of anger focused towards the Mistletoe Festival. She had to learn to let go of past hurts and open up herself to new possibilities. I was a bit frustrated with her character at points because she felt a bit whiny at times. But I definitely related to her Type A personality, and it was sweet to watch her with Jace.
Jace was a total sweetheart! I liked him more and more as the book went on. He also had a lot that he was working with, but he was trying to open himself up to something new with Mia. I liked his kind heart, and it was fun to watch him and Mia work past their differences. I did feel like the turn from being enemies to lovers was a bit quick for me though.
There are a lot of fun side characters as well! Mia’s friends are super supportive, and it was cute how they helped her so much along the way. This is a quick read filled with Hallmark and Christmas cheer!

Y’all ain’t ready for this one! Talk about a hallmark movie script! Yes, yes, it absolutely is, and I’m totally here for it. It’s a sweet closed door romcom, with forced proximity, Grumpy-Sunshine, celebrity romance, small town and never been kissed. Yes, all of the good tropes y’all.

It’s the third in a series but can totally be read as a standalone, that’s what I did. Mia and Jace are the MCs and they had all the witty banter I swoon over. I was rooting for them early on and for Mia to get her first kiss. I’m all about HEA and these to definitely got theirs.

This was such a fun and lighthearted reed. There were plenty of moments that had me laughing out loud. If you need a good clean and refreshingly fun book this Christmas season, this is it, look no further!

Jace is a famous musician whose reputation is under fire after the gossip rags say he cheated on his former girlfriend. Mia used to be an event planner before she burned out. When her mom begs her to come back home and save the town by fixing their outdated Christmas festival.

As a part of this plan, she tries to recruit Jace to perform a concert at the festival. In order to make this happen, she works as his personal assistant and the two become close. They even agree to kind of fake date in order to rehab his image.

In a town filled with mistle-toe, never been kissed Mia is in for a dramatic time in her small-town. Will they be able to revamp the festival and save her hometown?

Overall, this was a fluffy and cute read for Christmas. If you're a hallmark movie fan then this will be right up your alley.

I really enjoyed this book! There were a few parts I thought were slow but I don't think it had anything to do with the book, I was kind of getting into a book slump. However I loved the story line of this book. I didn't realize it was part of an interconnected series, and I will definitely be reading the other books in the series! I can for sure add Grace Worthington as one of my top authors!

The story of Jace and Mia. He is hiding out after a break up left his career damaged. Mia needs his help to make the town Christmas festival a success. Will the time they spend together lead to more?

When I started reading this book it did not take me long to know it was a winner! The characters are great together and the chemistry is fantastic.
To make reading this even better I found out it is part of a series so now I will be adding this series to my books to read.
Mia and Jace were written in such a way that I felt like they had been friends in my life forever and could not wait to turn the pages to see where things went with them.
Grace Worthington is a new author for me, and it is great to find one that gives me a book to read and tell my friends about them.

This is the first book I've read by Grace Worthington and it did not disappoint.
I did not realize it was part of a series, but in my opinion it was completely fine read as a stand alone.
I appreciated the duel POV between the two main characters, Jace and Mia. From where they first meet in the airport to the development of their relationship, the entire storyline was Hallmark Christmas movie worthy.
The many tropes worked well together and felt natural; forced proximity, fake dating, first kiss, slight grumpy/sunshine vibes, rockstar MMC.
Without giving away any spoilers, my favorite scene was when Jace buys the hat for Mia (swoon) and my least favorite scene(s) was actually the song Jace wrote/sang for Mia (it was a little cringy to me, but I could appreciate the necessity of it...given he's a singer/song writer). Also, the chemistry and banter between the two was very well written and made the characters, and their relationship, relatable.

Overall I enjoyed the read, the characters, the plot, the humor, even the closed door romance that made the story feel sweet and innocent. It made for a great book to cozy up with and read over the holiday season.

Christmas Perfection!!

To say I adored this book would be an understatement. If you are looking for a sweet rom-com that would make a fantastic holiday movie please look no further...I'm not talking Hallmark Movie either I'm talking big screen rom-com with Hollywood A-listers.

Mia is a down on her luck event planner, who doesn't have much Christmas spirit, who heads home to her small town to help save their winter festival.

Jace is a country music star who is tasting the sting of the press/media and has lost his muse. He's hoping to retreat to the small town where he bought his peaceful home and hopefully rediscover what he's lost.

While saving the Christmas festival, they save themselves and each other. He dared her to be happy, and she dared to fall for him.

I ATE this up. I need this to be a Hallmark movie asap. It put me right in the Christmas spirit and had enough spice to keep me warm this h0liday season.

I really enjoyed the banter between Mia and Jace, their first "meet cute" was funny and it gave you a good view into Mia. I fully enjoyed this holiday read and will be reading this in my yearly read.

Very enjoyable, sweet, proper romance. This holiday romance will be a great introduction to the genre for any age reader and an easy holiday or weekend read for anyone in need of a happy ending!

Ok y'all, this is my first time reading a book by Grace Worthington and I loved it! It was so delightful and left me smiling and super happy! And it's a Christmas book! It had lots of great stuff packed into. Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I did if you read it.

Poor Mia, she's getting roped into helping out her hometown when all she wants to do is avoid it, avoid mistletoe, avoid the traditions and the family heartache, and just stay with her roommates for the holiday. But her mom has other plans for her! And those include getting her home to help revive her hometown's Christmas festivities in hopes of reviving the town itself. Help them Mia, you're their only hope! ;-) I couldn't resist, if you don't catch the reference, that's ok. Now she's heading home to meet with the committee and that big wig singer, Jace, who isn't having the best year either.

Can I just tell you how funny and awkwardly funny and extremely awkward (you get the gist) Mia and Jace's meet cute is? Hahaha! I was snickering while reading it. And poor Mia, she just keeps digging herself into a deeper hole. Then their second meeting. Bwahahaha!!!

Cuteness alert for this book y'all! It's just darling! These two have some things from their past that are hindering their futures. It was wonderful reading and watching their character arcs as they had to learn and grown, let go of the past and find a way to heal. Fortunately, they get to do that together! And they're just darling together!

The songs and the snowstorm, the hotel room, the dress, the mistletoe, the first kiss (in more ways than one), her roommates, the family (mom and brothers), the ex, the cabin, the swooniness, the mistletoe, the goodness of both characters, the mistletoe, the concert, the music...ok I'm repeating some things but that's because I loved those aspects!!!

Content: Clean. The main characters are forced to share a hotel room together due to a blizzard but nothing happens. Some sweet kisses in the book but nothing further.
