unfortunately this one wasn't for me. I think the writing was great, but it felt out of my realm. there were a few stories I enjoyed, but a few were quote confusing for me. I think this was a me problem + not an issue with the book.

Cayley skillfully strikes a delicate balance between realism and absurdity in each tale, ensuring that they are well-paced and of optimal length – neither rushed nor dragging. Reading through this anthology felt akin to indulging in a box of exquisite chocolates, each story offering a unique and delightful experience.

This was such an interesting collection of short stories. I think this is a great book to pick-up and put down. If you enjoy anthology stories, I recommend.

Easy-to-read and quirky these stories were a pleasant change of pace for me. I liked they left me thinking about what I just learned from each character. Solid writing and very creative. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
