I did enjoy this book and having read the first two in the series, I was wondering who the mystery man was. Lady Verity is very observant and is on the lookout as to who could be this man. She is also passionate about food. Colonel Raphael Wolfford is a spy, he is determined to rout out the French spies and in particular the person who shot his uncle. His uncle is very dear to him, having brought him up. He also wants to know more about his parents. Verity and Rafe are very attracted to each other but Rafe has his mission and how will Verity feel if it gets out how Rafe has used her. I did like their interaction, there are some dangerous events and some passion. Altogether, this was an entertaining read. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A historical romance between Rafe and Verity who make a good pairing. However the whole story for me is enhanced by the mystery. We have Spies, lot of lying going on and an ex fiancee out for revenge. It cracks along at a good pace and had a twist I wasn't expecting. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Unfortunately, I didn't like this one much. I had thought this was a standalone in a series but it seemed like a continuation of the previous two books which I hadn't before. It was only minor stuff so I forged on but as the story progressed, I didn't feel any chemistry between our MCs which led to the conversation feeling stilted and awkward. Sentences in books were totally misaligned and started to give me a headache. I did try in Kindle as well the Shelf App so it's the editing that was the issue. Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC.

"Beverley A. Crick brings Sabrina Jeffries' 'Accidentally His' to life with a captivating narration that perfectly captures the essence of Regency romance. Crick's voice, with its British charm, adds a delightful layer to the storytelling, making it a pleasure for my ears.
The story unfolds with Verity, a strong and independent woman navigating love and business in the regal world. Crick adeptly distinguishes characters, seamlessly switching between feminine and masculine voices. Rafe, the viscount's heir, emerges as a charming and protective hero, and the narrator skillfully conveys the depth of his emotions.

The blend of humor, mystery, steamy romance, and historical authenticity makes this audiobook a delightful experience. Crick's narration enhances the story's appeal, making 'Accidentally His' a must-listen for fans of Regency romance.
While I haven’t read the previous two books in the series, I didn’t felt like missing much and I’m looking forward to reading more from the author in the future as she is undoubtedly one of my favourite historical romance novelist.

Very grateful to the publisher for my alc, opinions are my own.

A delightful historical romance between Rafe and Verity. Just the right amount of heat with the thrill of a mystery and a spy thrown in for good measure. A good pace, interesting characters and a nice twist.

A romance with the right level of sass, of feistiness and of suspense. Verity is bold and brave on the outside but underneath it all she is bruised and still hurting from her broken engament. The mystery is great, not too all encompassing but strongly directs the plot and the unmasking was a surprise to me. Some great return characters from books 1 and 2 added to my joy.

This is a fun romance mystery. Rafe is a spy looking for the person who shot his Uncle and investigating Verity's family first undercover and then in person. Then his interest in Verity starts to change as they get closer. This is a light hearted enjoyable read. You don't need to have read the others books in the series before reading this one.

Quite a interesting story. Rafe has been a presence in the other books. He was trying to find the french spy. He turned up at some of Verity's sister's events in disguise. He is the heir to his uncle. The uncle is a general and also a spy who was shot by the person Rafe is seeking. Verity thinks she recognises Rafe. She was let down by a Lord Minton, who dumped her when her parents got divorced, Mainy kisses for the first half of the book and then a bit more passion further on. I suppose this could be the last one in the series as there were just three sisters. I guessed about Rafe's parentage. It seemed more of a friends romance than IMO and all out passionfest, especially on Verity's part. I enjoyed the book.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
