Flirty Sexy Love by Evelyn Montgomery is a book split into two sections; the first section and main body of the book contains three erotic romance short stories, which really get the blood pumping and excites the reader from the imagery used. The second part of this book is some sneak peek taster chapters of thirteen other romance novels. The majority of this review will discuss the three novellas, but we will cover the thirteen taster novels briefly in order to provide a holistic account of the book.

I really enjoyed this book; the three short stories were amazing and really added value to the novella! These were probably some of the best erotica I have ever read as it does not go over the top with background description, very much focus on the here and now and is very quick to get to the sexual activity. The actual sexual activity contains fantastic use of both language and imagery, making it an intensely enjoyable experience for both the characters and the reader. The characters take risks during their sexual intercourse, which adds to the element of thriller and excitement. This is also an incredibly gripping read with reasonably short chapters which further add value to the novellas. It's also worth mentioning that having one amazing erotic short story is good, but having three erotic short stories is spoiling the reader with excitement!

There is not much I can criticise about the three short stories as they were written to a very good level, which kept the reader hooked throughout. Each short story was also very different, which is pleasing to the reader. The one thing I would say is that it would have been nice if these short stories were slightly longer; maybe to convert them into novellas in their own right as they have much potential and would really help develop both the story and the sexual element. I would definitely encourage Montgomery to experiment with some standalone erotic novellas to develop more of a story but also to maintain the intense excitement from the sex scenes.

The thirteen taster chapters presented at the end of this book were very varied. There was a mixture of romance in the real-world setting as well as pure fantasy, showing that Montgomery has great overall talent as a writer, being able to write such a diverse collection of romance/erotic books. I enjoyed reading these tasters, and some of them made me want to continue reading them. However, I think thirteen was probably far too many tasters as they introduce you to the story but go no further; they leave you on a cliffhanger. This is a good technique when not overused, as I would argue it is here. The reader does not want what seems like half of the novella to be full of the first chapters of thirteen further novels, which contain no sex, excitement, or development. It would have been much wiser to perhaps not include any more than five tasters, which may have allowed the three short stories to be further developed. Alternatively, if Montgomery wanted to keep the thirteen sneak peeks, it could potentially be smart to include two or three between each of the short stories so they are not all one after the other and would also break up the short stories, which may have added further value to the novella, as somewhat of a palate cleanser.

Altogether, I was initially stuck with what to rate this book as the three short stories made this novella worthy of a really high rating, but the thirteen sneak peeks really took away much of the value of the book as they currently are. However, I have decided to maintain the higher rating of 4 stars as this is a very good, exciting and gripping novella which I really enjoyed and would definitely recommend. I look forward to potentially reading more of Montgomery's books. My expectations were low going into the story, but I wasn’t expected to feel turned off the whole time. None of the characters had chemistry and I was overall disappointed.

Three very short sexy stories. They were enjoyable. Just the amount of plot and spice for short stories.

This is a novella with three short stories. Even though these are short stories, they felt really rushed. In my opinion, the second story was the best out of the three. I wish the second story was a bit longer and I think it has the potential to be a good novel.

At the end of the book are several previews of other books. If you're looking for a quick steamy read, then this might work for you.

Hot Hot Hot, 3 short quick reads with bonus reads at the back.. Each short story is three chapters and you will read them fairly quickly. I didn't bother reading the short bonus reads at the end as I felt it was just one chapter of each and I would want to read them all.

These are really short stories, but they are very spicy. I didn't expect to actually enjoy them, and these novellas are honestly good for passing some time. This can be read in less than two hours, I think, and readers will still get flirty, sexy, and *filthy* steamy scenes. 🥵

A great read, very well written with 3 stories and 11 sleek peaks. Great characters with great chemistry and the right amount odpf spice.

The three stories were a lot of fun to read. There was the expected spice but more than that there was real character development & engaging stories.

This is advertised as a palette cleanser and it worked great as that! I loved these short, spicy stories. Once in a while, things changed or time jumped a little abruptly, but when you’re working with very limited pages, I get what the author was doing. It always worked after a second of acclimation. Really enjoyed these, lots of fun!

This will warm you up on a cold winter day! Short stories pack a punch.

I definitely recommend and would totally read more by these authors esp if they are additional novellas. There isn’t a whole lot of substance or character development but it’s a quick sexy read so all of that other stuff wasn’t really necessary.

If you’re down for the spice…these are pretty nice.

With the first two having no names and just nicknames, I was almost confused when the third had a name.

Theres not much plot though there is a lot of spice following this novella with the ending having sneak peaks for other novels.

I enjoyed the ease of reading this and having a little binge.

Holy cow! Looking for a "quickie" of a read, then you need to pick up this novella featuring three short stories. They may be short, but they are not lacking the spice. If anything, they are hotter than some full-length books I have read.

What I really loved the most about the stories is that most of the couples were not identified with names. This made it even hotter as me the reader could easily imagine me as the female in each story. Don't miss this novella. it is just what I needed to keep me warm during these cold winter days!

Better Than Expected:
A doctor was sitting at a crowded bar he couldn’t help but overhear the sexy, steamy, hot, and slutty conversation taking place next to him. His total focus has long been on his career. However, the woman from the bar and the conversation continued to be on his mind.
Better Than Expected did little for me. Out of 5 stars this one deserves a 3.
Serendipity & Lucky Floor 13:
Lucky finds herself in the arms of a stranger in an elevator. She has a feeling she knows him from somewhere. Once she figures out how she knows him she wonders if he remembers her.
Serendipity &Lucky Floor 13 was hot. This is one of my fantasies. This short story deserves a 5.
Hot for Teacher & The Kama Sutra:
She thought she was alone in the library. She took the Kama Sutra off the shelf and began to study it. However, she wasn’t alone and the hot new professor saw her.
Hot for Teacher & The Kama Sutra is a hot short story. This one was hot, steamy and so slutty. It deserves a 5.
This is three short stories for adults. Each story’s focus is on a hot, sexy, male and a female. I would like to see the author expand on the stories. By fleshing out the characters she could better connect with her readers. At the end of this book, Author Evelyn Montgomery offers her readers a short sneak peek into several of her books.
