I love Christine Feehan and her series, all of them, including this series , although it feels a bit more dark romance than Ms Feehan’s usual Paranormal romance, it didn’t put me off I still love it, but feel it needs to be pointed out to those who might not be looking for that.

I have really enjoyed this series but when I started this one it was a bit too dark for me. I think the series had gotten progressively darker but it didn't bother me when I read them in a row. Jumping back into it was a bit too much. I think think will be a good fit for darker romance readers who want a paranormal aspect.

Gorya Amurov has managed to hide his true powers , always appearing as the peacemaker within the family , the one everyone thinks is weak - that is until the time to show his enemies his true face - that times has come !
Maya Averina and her leopard were united by adversity and brutality at a young age - her life has been spent in hunting those who would continue the abuse of children and women and destroying them . But now she knows that she can no longer remain in hiding for her body has started to go into the mating fever - male leopards will be drawn to her , to do with as they will , she would rather die .
When their paths cross they both know the other is hiding powers that others would possess if the could ............. their traumatic and brutal childhoods give them common ground which soon grows into something much more powerful .
They are determined that those who trade in atrocities against women and children need to be exterminated , never to rise again

This book is beautifully written , showing the atrocities that can arise if not taken apart at the source ,,where adversity can be overcome . The central characters show how love and acceptance can help them survive the future .no matter the past .
This book appears to be the culmination of the amur leopards series - but I hope the Author can revisit them in some way in the future

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

I have in the past enjoyed many books by Christine Feehan, but this book has a story line of sexual abuse and trafficking which is not a subject I want to read about for my personal enjoyment and as a result I could not finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story covers some very triggering content including rape and SA but the author handles these circumstances well and they are covered delicately. I would advice reading trigger warnings. This is book 14 in part of a series but can also be read as a standalone without the necessity to read the prior books.

I was gripped by this story from the beginning. The trauma and suffering that Gorya and Maya had to endure through their childhood and their lives is really heart wrenching and has you gripped in an emotional chokehold when their memories are recounted. I love the fact however, that they have both taken that trauma and used it to make themselves stronger and aid other individuals to prevent them suffering the same fates they did.

The leopard shifter elements of this story were great for me, it was a unique shifting element for me as I've predominantly only read stories that involved wolves or dragons or the more common shifters.

The relationship development between the two main characters and how they tried to heal together and support each other as the grew closer was really beautiful to read.

The only gripe I really have is that the paving was a bit slow, but other than that it was overall a brilliant story and I would definitely recommend.

I love Christine Feehans carpathian , seahaven and Torpedo ink series , I haven't really read her leopard series and thought I'd try this review copy of Leopard's Hunt.
This was a real page turner once I got into the first few chapters. I have read two previous books so I recognized a few characters mentioned but I think I would have better understood what was going on if I'd read the series from the beginning. It didn't detract from my enjoyment of the storyline though and the author fills in relevant backstory when needed . The storyline deals with some uncomfortable subjects and some of the scenes are graphic in nature, this won't be to everyone's taste, it explains the character's reasoning and motivation and shows that both protagonists are strong and resilient, they also work better together.
I was really invested after a few chapters in and didn't want to put the book down.
I'll definitely be reading more of this series and can't wait for the next book. Recommended

The story is typical Christine Feehan. I enjoyed the story, although it was a bit slow in places. Maya and Gorya are broken in many ways and have become killers out of necessity. This brokenness causes them to question if they can make it as mates but they work through it.

I just didn't gel with this book. Christine Feehan was the author who got me into reading romance as a teenager and the Leopard People series was one of my favourites, but it's been a while since I've read anything new by her.

I just didn't find this very engaging. The writing style felt a bit stiff, the dialogue somewhat clunky, and I struggled to get into it. It's a shame, because I have a lot of affection for her earlier works, but reading this felt very different. It just wasn't for me.

Feehan’s writing has this way of pulling you so easily into the world that they create. Maya and Goryais romance was so so good. I seriously can’t wait for the next book by the author!

For the Amurov leopards' family and mates are everything. They help them overcome unbearable childhoods.
When Gorya Amurov meets Maya, everyone thinks she is small and delicate. Gorya and his leopard know different.
Both these families must come together to stand against the spread of violence and terror. These two will have to reveal all that they have become over years of training.
This story is part of a long running series of shifters. This is a strong story on its own merits.
You will devour this world in one sitting.
Thank you NetGalley and (publisher) for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

Another great book by Christine Feehan.

This book covers some very difficult and upsetting themes, with the traumatic childhood of one the main characters, which was hard to read.

The developing relationship between Gorya and Maya, two people who had suffered during their childhood, was a beautiful thing to see being explored. It was great to see previous characters from the series as the leopards band together to fight.

It was fascinating to learn more of the different psychic talent the new characters have and how they are able to use them during battle. There is a lot of suspense and action, but in the center of this book is the power of redemption and how people can fight strength in each other to overcome their past and find happiness.

Overall, it was a great book and I can’t wait for the next one in this series.

Maya and Gorya are both survivors of horrific abuse. Both thought that they were destined to be alone and eventually end their lives once they could not carry on. Surprisingly, they are incredibly similar and their abilities complement each other, so much so that they end up healing each other - emotionally at least. There is a lot going on in this book and I was drawn all the way though devouring at at a rate of knots. As soon as I finished, I started it again, savouring it. I particularly enjoyed the interactions between Maya and Gorya, intense but so sensitive and open and lighthearted when needed to dissipate the tension. Catching up with the wider family is always a thrill.

This book covers some very difficult and upsetting themes. The start of the book, covering Maya’s traumatic childhood was especially hard to read due to the horrendous sexual abuse she suffered. I almost stopped at that point, but as a longtime fan of the author, I had faith and kept reading. Although the themes of sex trafficking and abuse continue throughout the book, it doesn’t involve the main characters. The developing relationship between Maya and Gorya, two people who have both suffered terrible abuse, was a beautiful thing. There are appearances from previous characters in the series as the leopards band together to battle against true evil. As long as you are aware of the potential triggers, this is a great book. As ever, it is fascinating to learn of the different psychic talents the new characters have and how they are able to utilize them in battle. There is a lot of action and suspense, but at its heart this book is about the power of redemption - how two people can find strength in each other to overcome their pasts and finally find happiness.
