What a truly original story, started reading the book but wasn't really sure how good it would be.
Needn't have worried it really is a great story with a huge name of history between the characters.
Can't say my more as I don't want to spoil it however it's definitely worth a read.

I felt this book was trying to be too many things to too many people. Sadly, I didn't get on with it at all

I really enjoyed the historical fantasy elements that I was hoping for and thought this had a interesting concept that had everything that I was looking for. The characters were what I was expecting and they felt like they were supposed to. It had that dark elements that I was looking for and thought the thriller elements worked well overall. It left me wanting to read more in this series and from Carl Bayley.

Readers will thoroughly enjoy "Trinity of Souls" as they embark on a thrilling adventure through various eras, immersing themselves in the lives of Ben and Susan. The book's exploration of different historical periods, from ancient Egypt to punk rock, adds a captivating layer to the narrative. The characters' multiple lives, lived across millennia, provide a unique perspective that keeps the audience engaged. "Trinity of Souls" is a page-turner for those who relish the excitement of traversing through time, savoring the distinct flavors of each era, and unraveling the mysteries that bind the characters together.

I found this too much to read in one sitting, but pretty absorbing. It's a very interesting combination of fantasy and mystery, set in the Scottish Highlands. At the time when I started reading this, it was late in the evening and I was tired, but even then, it had a certain eeriness that drew me in, and I found myself reluctant to stop reading. Time travel is an important element in the story, so in that sense, it was like reading several stories. I was turning the pages quickly, feeling more and more surprised. At the same time, I felt that if I read too quickly, I may miss something significant, or fail to fully appreciate it. This was unusual, interesting and unique, and I liked it.

What a wonderful story spanning many many years. The characters were very easy to invest in and thoroughly believable. I have always enjoyed this genre and this book certainly did not disappoint. One of the best I have read. I was hooked from the first chapter. Thoroughly good read and I will certainly be looking for more by this author

Very enjoyable story and a clever concept. The "flashbacks" to earlier lives of the main protagonists were well developed.

The gradual evolving of the current lives of these main characters took some time to really invest in them and the final climatic scenes were good but not perhaps as credible as other parts of the story.

Was quite pleasantly surprised at the end to find that there's going to be further stories with these characters as I felt the tale had reached a satisfactory conclusion. However I'll be looking out for the next episode with interest.

I enjoyed this novel, I was really engaged and I liked the characters. Will be looking out for more by this author.

Three people chase each other across time. Souls destined to met time and time again. Love and hate, new beginnings and old memories mixing emotions and memories until it’s almost impossible to know where one life ends and another begins.

Stories about love that defies death about reincarnation and people finding each other despite all the hazards placed in their way always fascinate me. While this may not be the best example of the genre I have ever read it is certainly enjoyable and I’m already looking forward to the next addition to the series.
