There is nothing particularly ground-breaking about the advice given in this book - we all know we should be eating better, exercising more and prioritising getting enough good quality sleep. What's good about it though is the way that it is presented to show the relationship between these different lifestyle aspects, and the science behind why seemingly unrelated things can still influence each other. The book starts with a number of relatable case studies before giving the reader some tools to work out for themselves what might be causing their own general feeling of unwellness that can't be pinned down to a diagnosable disease. I appreciated that the advice was coming from a medical doctor rather than just a lifestyle practitioner - it feels a lot more rooted in science and medicine than some similar books I have read. I also appreciated the down-to-earth tone, which was easy to read and relate to. Definitely some ideas to take on board here.

Simple way to look at your overall health. I particularly liked the overview case studies that were in the book that made it easier to apply the theory to yourself.

Being a nurse, I really wanted to read this as I have heard about Dr Panja and was intrigued to see what the book would hold.
I loved the easy flowing way it was written and, one thing that I always promote to my patients, prevention is better than cure. A lot of healthcare professionals will focus on treatment for an illness rather than promoting easy to follow tools and guidelines on what can be done to PREVENT illness.
Even though I come from a medical background, I do feel as though the medical terminology was written in a layman's format so people that are less familiar with certain types of medical jargon can clearly understand what is written. I also love the more holistic approach to caring for your health as well.

I will definitely be implementing some of the techniques described to improve my level of health and awareness.

Thanks again for the opportunity to read and review this very thought provoking book.
