I do usually like Lisa Gardner books but this wasn’t really for me. Perhaps I can’t ‘get’ Frankie Elkins as I’d followed her before and I don’t have a longing to follow her adventures. The story was a good one, gripping with lots of twists and turns but it was rather drawn out.

"This island isn't paradise. And at this point, I have no idea who to trust, let alone what to do next."

When the serial killer known as the Beautiful Butcher reaches out to Frankie Elkin, Frankie is intrigued. Kaylee Pierson is on death row – she has three weeks to live and she wants to find her younger sister, Lea, who went missing years before. Kaylee has received a letter, purportedly from Lea, indicating that she's in the clutches of Kaylee's abusive ex-boyfriend, the ultra-rich and powerful Sanders MacManus.

So, Frankie goes undercover at the Hawaiian island where MacManus is developing a luxury eco-resort. She gets a job at the rudimentary base camp where a small group of wanderers and stragglers are keeping things going while construction is set to get underway. But it's not long before Frankie realises the beautiful island is hostile: someone is sabotaging crucial infrastructure and a massive storm lashes the island.

And when MacManus arrives with Lea, chaos erupts.

This is a wild, fast-paced, action-packed thriller. You never know who to trust or what twist will come next, which makes it loads of fun.

I love the flawed, rough-around-the-edges Frankie as a main character. She's smart, wiley and doesn't take sh*t from anyone. I really hope we get more books featuring her.

I learnt a lot about the Hawaiian islands and some of their history in this book – the author visited one so it's a well-researched aspect of the story I want to go to an island now – despite the humidity and mosquitoes described in the book!

I have read many of Lisa Gardners' novels and always find them quite gripping.

In Still See You Everywhere the book follows missing persons specialist Frankie Elkin. I really enjoyed reading about Frankie, she is witty and I really warmed to her.

She is trying to find a woman named Lani, she is, of course, missing and Frankie sets out to find her. Lani is not just anyone though, she is the sister of a serial killer and they are going to be executed in a few weeks time.

A good novel, with plenty of twists and will keep you gripped.

Thanks to the author, netgalley and the publishers.

I really enjoyed this book and found it a good read. Frankie finds people and never stays in one place for long. She takes a job on a remote island to find the sister of a serial killer, awaiting death. All is not as it seems and things quickly progress. Lots of twists and turns keeping you in suspense.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.

Frankie is a finder of missing people. She lives completely off the grid and never settles any place for too long. When a lawyer summons her to speak to a notorious serial killer she goes along with it. The killer wants Frankie to find her long lost baby sister. And just like that Frankie is on her way to a remote Hawaiian island.

Oh my goodness and wow! The first chapter or two I wasn’t impressed, but then it was non-stop action. I can’t count the number of twists this tale had. So well written that I was truly invested in all the characters and couldn’t get through each page bc quick enough. Exciting and informative with detail that I didn’t need to know-looking at you coconut crabs and Wolfie. This is book 3 and it worked fine as a standalone novel. However I’m now desperate to read books 1 and 2. A sure fire hit that I highly recommend!

Man liest gebannt weiter.

Still See You Everywhere by Lisa Gardner

Lisa Gardner is the master storyteller of this genre .
In this series ( Frankie Elkin ) this is the third outing for the character , and what a character she is . Ex drinker , a bit of a loner , not particularly young or attractive , but this is what makes her interesting to read about.

This time she is tasked to find Lani , potentially Missing on an island close to Hawaii.
Her brother is a serial killer on death row and believes she is captive by her ex partner in the island.

As the previous ones , an excellent read.

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin for my copy of Still See You Everywhere by Lisa Gardner.

I hadn’t read the first two books in the Frankie Elkin series but the book worked well as a standalone.
Frankie finds missing people or at last finds answers. She doesn’t take payment and she doesn’t work for any law enforcement agencies.
I guess you could say she likes puzzles and talking to people.
In this case she looking for a missing sister, the journey takes her to a remote island in Hawaii owned by a very wealthy powerful man.
Will she solve this case, or is this one a step too far.

Warning: do not start this unless you have time to finish it in one sitting. Brilliant non stop page turner.

This is the third book in the series but can easily be read as a stand alone.
Frankie is a recovering alcoholic and never stays in one place for long. But there's one thing that Frankie is good at and that's finding missing people, especially the ones the authorities have given up on.
When Frankie is contacted by the lawyer of the infamous female serial killer she's reluctant to take on the case.
But when Frankie heard the story of how five year old Leilani the sister of Kaylee the serial killer was kidnapped by a violent billionaire she decides to take on the job.
Unfortunately the job in question takes her to a remote Hawaiian atoll where the billionaire Sanders MacManus is building a eco-friendly resort.
Death and mayhem come to the island but can Frankie save the person she came looking for?

Frankie Elkin is tasked with looking for serial killer Kaylee's sister and is sent to a remote island in Hawaii to do so. I absolutely love Frankie and the other characters some I loved and others I loved to hate. There are quite a few different characters in this book but it was easy to keep up with them as they are introduced one at a time. The setting was beautiful and the vivid descriptions make you feel like you are there, I could feel the humidity burning my skin. I found the plot lusciously addictive and my heart was in my throat right until the final build up which left me breathless. The action got a bit blood thirsty but is not written with too much gore so I think it is fine for those who don't like to much blood. I could feel the adrenaline rush along with the characters. Frankie Elkin is one of my most favourite fictional characters! A tantalising read!

Wow! I'm a huge Lisa Gardner fan but I think the Frankie Elkin series is the best so far. I love the different settings that she's incorporating, having a nomad as the main character was a great choice as it opens up so many possibilities for stories and the atoll was a brilliant choice for this book. It's also great to have new characters in each story, she writes characters so well that even the side characters are really fleshed out and have their own place in the book. There is such a great blend of character story and also mystery with her books, it was one of those books that I didn't want to put down.

This is the third book about Frankie, she doesn’t like to be in one place too long, so starts looking for missing people. Frankie is approaching by a serial killers lawyer to help find her missing sister. Kaylee left her sister in Hawaii after a physical fight with her then boyfriend Mac and wants to find her. Frankie takes the job on, but it’s not what she prepared herself for.

Loved the story, plot and location setting. It’s dark with a great twist in it. The descriptions of all the things on the island were incredible and I don’t think I want to meet a coconut crab anytime soon.

A brilliant suspense read.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy.

From the first chapter this book reels you in! It gets slower while it sets the scene in the first half but is well worth sticking with. The twists are so complicated I didn’t know what we were getting hit with next! It was very cleverly written and kept me guessing until the last chapter.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review

Frankie Elkin finds the missing after everyone else has given up.
Frankie’s next search is totally remarkable for her, she has been asked to find a long-lost sister of a convicted serial killer called Kaylee Pierson. Aka the Beautiful Butcher. A relentless killer of at least eighteen men.
Unable to say no she is transported to a small resort where Leilani the sister will be. This place is secluded, and when her quarry arrives she is always under the watchful eye of her guardian Sanders MacManus, a super billionaire. This is the man Pierson blames for her missing sister and her downward spiral into serial killing madness.
After arriving at the island, things escalate quickly, as Frankie finds out Kaylee has escaped prison and could be on her way for the ultimate revenge.
When things come to a head, not even Frankie could have seen the outcome, as it appears there is more than one monster on the island. But will she survive to see her mission through?
Lisa Gardner has written a lot high quality books, but this one is on another level.
Her main character Frankie is incredible and the story is impossible to put down.
It’s a rollercoaster ride of emotions, it’s gripping, scary and intense.
Frankie Elkin is the best thing to come along in fiction since Jack Reacher. If you haven’t read it, you are missing out, it’s superb.

‘Still See You Everywhere’ is a fast-paced, cracking read that I couldn't put down! Somehow this is the first book by this author that I had read and I loved it! This is the third book in the Frankie Elkin series but it can definitely be read as a standalone, but I will certainly be going back to read the others as I want to know about the tampon plugging a bullet hole! Seriously, I loved Frankie as a character and I can't wait to find out more about her.

Frankie Elkin is an expert at finding missing people, the invisible, those whom society doesn't see as important. We meet her she is travelling on a Greyhound bus to a max prison to meet a convicted serial killer. The Beautiful Butcher is soon to be executed for killing a string of men and then feeding them to her pigs. Her lawyer has asked Frankie to meet with Kaylee as she wants to find her sister before she dies. She wants Frankie to search for and rescue her sister Lealani who was kidnapped at age 5 by an ex-partner of Kaylee, the tech billionaire Sanders McManus. He is currently in the process of building a luxury eco-lodge in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a tiny atoll, Pomaiki and this is where Frankie is to go undercover and rescue Lealani. Sounds easy right…

I devoured this book in a couple of sittings and loved every minute of it! Do you have to suspend disbelief at certain points, for sure but it makes for a cracking read and a brilliant thriller. What made this book for me was the location and how easily I could visualise it! You really felt as if you could feel the humidity, see those terrifying blue coconut crabs (trust me don't google them!) and feel the camaraderie between the staff on the island! There was a great cast of characters but I loved Trudie and Ann! Frankie was a great protagonist even if she could be a bit stupid at times! She is damaged but trying to make up for it by searching for these missing people.

This book flies at a relentless pace - there are dead bodies, twists and turns, misdirections aplenty and a brilliant finale! There is also a lot of fun and humour in the book which counteracts the at times quite dark material. Overall, it was highly entertaining and I would certainly read more about Frankie and her life!

Let me know if you pick this one up!

This is a really good mystery. A recovering alcoholic, Frankie, looks for missing people.

This is the third book in a series, although it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. I found this the most difficult to get into, but, stick with it as it’s got twists and turns aplenty and an array of characters you don’t know who to trust.

The premise is interesting; Frankie is called upon by a death row inmate nicknamed ‘The Beautiful Butcher’ who engages her to find her missing sister. This takes Frankie to an Hawaiian atoll where the possible kidnapper of said sister is developing the land, helped by a varied team of interesting individuals, most of whom seem suspicious.

There’s adventure, interesting characters and creatures and the ending is dramatic and interesting.

Overall, a really good read that I enjoyed.

Thanks to NetGalley and Random House UK for the opportunity to preview and I wish the author every success.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of Still See You Everywhere by Lisa Gardner in return for my honest review.
This is the third book in the Frankie Elkin series and although it can be read as a standalone I would highly recommend reading the others not only to give you a real sense to who Frankie is and why she does what she does but they are all fantastic reads. In this instalment Frankie has been asked to look for the sister of a female inmate on death row, she finds herself on a remote Eco island with a team of very mixed characters some you’ll love others you’ll hate including the very chilling wildlife. This book had me hooked from the very first page lots of action twists and turns to keep you guessing till the end. Can’t wait for the next book.

My first Lisa Gardner in ages and I don't know why her books fell off my radar. This was so good! I absolutely love Frankie and Lisa can write a strong but vulnerable female character. But the star of this thriller was the setting. Turning island paradise into a nightmare took a lot of skill but the plot was executed to perfection.
