I was so excited to read this book. I love a cute and swoony grumpy merts sunshine trope, but this book just didn't do it for me and I am so sorry for that
I wasn't invested in the characters. I didn't like the MFC, I didn't find her likeable at all. And as for Alfie, I really think we needed to hear his POV. I so wanted to hear his thoughts.
I gave up at 25%
This just wasn't for me.
