Christie and Agatha finally receive correspondence in the mail after placing an add in the paper for their detective agency. They travel with one of their friends, Auguste, their mother, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to London to try to crack this case. A renowned scientist is hoping to display his new device at the science exhibit, but has received a threat that someone is after it. Once he realizes that Christie and Agatha are children, he is reluctant to hire them, but the girls are undeterred. Will the girls and their friends be able to stop the heist from happening? A cute mystery for young readers. You may appreciate some of the characters more by reading the books in order, but I didn't feel lost reading this one without reading the others.

I received an eARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

This is a fun series for those who are too young for Enola Holmes, but enjoy mysteries and the world of Sherlock Holmes. It is perfect for fans of the A-Z Mysteries, or The Magic Treehouse books. While there are moments where there could be danger or police involvement, all ends well, and the children are resourceful as ever.

I recommend this series to libraries or schools that have independent readers or children who have the stamina for a longer read-aloud and prefer mysteries.

When Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar receives a threat that his science exhibit is going to be stolen, Christie and Agatha’s Detective Agency is hired to investigate. That is, until Mr Bhatnagar pulls them off the case! But with the threat of a grand heist still looming, Christie, Agatha and friends aren’t ready to walk away from the mystery just yet.

My daughter and I read this book together and we loved it. Agatha and Christie are friends with the likes of Einstein and Sir Connan Doyle! They have traveled the world previous to this book to solve other cases and have made quite a name for themselves.

The case was intriguing and the characters colorful. The Heist was exciting and we weren't sure who "did it" until the last moment. Always a good mystery when you don't know until it is revealed.

The illustrating on a handful of pages were amazing and really made the story come alive.

We simply adored this sweet book and will absolutely be reading more in this series and by this author.

This book was a fun read and part of a great series for young readers. The characters are relatable and inspirational, and handle situations with grit and grace. This book, and the series, will be recommended to my school library for purchase and to students in search of books that will keep their interest. Great series!

It is a delightful story about two girls who are by now famous detectives. The language is relatively simple but it is still very well-written. Together with the adorable illustration, this one is bound to be a bit among LKS2 students.

Thank you so much to Sweet Cherry Publishing and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

Agatha and Christie are now well known for the crimes they solve, big names know who they are, they now have a spot in the newspaper but no cases come to them. That is until Mr. Bhatnagar requests a consult, but changes his mind on giving them a case mid interview. Though the girls, Ada and Auguste are on the case regardless.

I really enjoyed reading this book, In this one it was really great that even though he had changed his mind on them taking the case they still didn’t give up on it, they wanted to help him solve it and stop his exhibit being stolen. They met many suspicious characters who ended up not being as suspicious as they thought.

The mystery was relatively easy in the sense of who it was but not so much the motive for doing so, which was fun to figure out. I really liked the way they solved it and how simple the case actually ended up being, it was great that they contained solving it even if they weren’t wanted for the case. I really liked seeing Ada again she’s such trouble that girl, but in the most perfect way, I liked that she was included in everything, she really was able to help them a lot through this case.

These books always come with some of the most stunning illustrations that take you right back to the era perfectly, I love seeing the setting and world come alive throughout the book.

I loved going on another adventure with Agatha and Christie, they are always so much fun to read as they are wonderful characters. If you haven’t read the series yet you really should, they are easy to read, the mysteries are incredibly fun, there’s always something different in each book, in a new location, with new characters. Each book offers a great adventure and fun mystery that I do highly recommend. Plus if you have read others in the series then you need to read this one too.
