I loved this book so much, it’s like a dose of summer in the middle of February when I read this. Heartwarming, as Jo Thomas’s books always are, full of great characters and delicious food, and a huge sense of community. A real hug of a book and great to catch up with Del and Fabian again. Perfect summer read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I couldn’t wait to start Jo Thomas’s latest book as I am a huge fan and this book was just perfect.
The romantic French setting was beautiful,
I loved the characters and how strong friendships and trust grew through the love of good food and cooking. My only complaint is how hungry I was after all the fantastic sounding dishes.
The ending was exactly how I hoped it would end and it couldn’t have been better.
Thanks to Netgalley, Jo Thomas and Random House UK, Transworld Publishers for an advanced copy on exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

I just love Jo Thomas as an author and have read all her books.
It was so lovely to go back to the old farmhouse, Le Petit Mas de la Lavande and catch up with Del and Fabien. My mind is back to imaging what the farmhouse and lavender fields look like and of course Fabian’s brocante. This is the story of love, friendship and a passion for friends, people and a place to gather and enjoy life.
My thanks as always to NetGalley and to Publishers Random House UK, Transworld Publishers, Penguin for the early read.
