The NetGalley Reading Journal User Guide contains a number of step-by-step tutorials for downloading and utilizing the Reading Journal and a general guide with tips to getting started with electronic journaling.
The folks at We Are Bookish have put together a journal, customizable pages, stickers, and more. This guide contains instructions for getting the most out of the journal and resources.
Graphically, it coordinates with the Reading Journal, and is a restful neutral palette of greens and beiges.
It is fairly simple, but readers should be comfortable with basic computer tasks, downloading apps, setting them up, importing files, and copying/customizing pages.
Additionally, depending on how much time readers wish to spend on journaling, it could come at a cost of valuable reading time (finding covers, copying them, tracking reading time, filling in charts, etc). All in all, however, it's a great resource for -using- the journal and getting the most out of figuring out how to set the journal up and how to use it for maximum effect.
Five stars. Kind of the We Are Bookish folks to provide support and tutorials to make book advocacy easier and more fun.

Still trying to navigate this guide. Not able to upload to my newest Kindle unfortunately.
Hopefully, with time it will get easier to use.

This was very helpful. Thank you for this quick navigation and download guide. I kept try to use the journal on different apps and it wasn't working right.

A super helpful guide for learning how to download, open, and edit the Reading Journal provided by NetGalley.

This is a useful guide on how to maximise the use of the NetGalley Reading Journal. The Journal itself is a fun and helpful resource.

A fantastic reading journal! It's helped me keep track of what I've read for the year. I haven't used it probably as much as I should have, but it has inspired me to work through my netgalley list.

Love love love this! Such a brilliant idea and great for us. It's a fun way to keep track of our reading for reviews and posts. Thank you for this gift!

The NetGalley Reading Journal User Guide is straightforward and easy to understand, with clear instructions for setting up your digital reading journal. While I personally prefer using an app like Goodreads to track my books, I can see how this guide would be an excellent resource for anyone wanting to dive into creating a more personalized digital reading journal

I had the Netgalley Reading Journal downloaded ofr a while but haven't had the time to discover how to use it so this is very useful!! Would have wished for a more visual guide, some screenshots of the more specific steps but it's fine nonetheless :) Thank you for taking into account us kinda dumb people with technology.

The guide on how to use the Reading Journal is clear and necessary for any NetGalley reviewer. Many thanks for providing me with the material.

A great guide with many useful tips & tricks! I will definitely save this for later as I continue to use my Reading Journal.

This is such a simple guide- short, sweet, and easy to follow! For someone like me who’s new to using electronic resources for journaling (and reading journaling in general), it gave very straightforward instructions and tips that made getting started very easy.
It’s an efficient and effective resource for those looking to make the most of their journaling on their device of choice and offers helpful and practical tips for getting started and doing simple tasks within the reading journal. Highly recommend this quick read before diving into the reading journal.

Thank you for this great template for starting a reading journal! I like the format since it's very detailed.

Such a great guide on how to use the NetGalley reading journal. Overall a very informative resource with some great tips!

Very clear guide, it made me excited to start using the journal straight away. I especially like that it gave a PDF reader suggestion. I hadn't heard of Xodo, but it looks great and easy to use.

This is definitely an important add to the reading journal. I appreciate that it is separate from the journal, but also a little back and forth and maybe there could be user guides among the journal? Anyway - I'm glad this exists :)

This was super helpful. I am a consistent Goodnotes user and though I have made and downloaded my fair share of hyperlinked documents- it was great to be able to confirm what I was doing and to see the other platforms that would work well with the document.

Super helpful for organizing the way I give feedback. It answered every question I had about setting up my journal and preparing it for use.

If you like to journal reviews, this is an online resource that will collect your data and insights. Its clear directions for MAC and iOS /Windows computers make it simple to download and use.
So what is NetGalley? It's a space for publishers to reach bookish people who write reviews. And the journal keeps track of book club selections, books that you review, and other things you read.
You can upload covers, stickers, and other graphics into your journal as well. It's not useful for me since this blog is my review journal. But you might like it if you don't have another place to park your thoughts and comments on what you read.

Anything i need to download to use fills me with anxiety, but...when i saw this was for a reading journal, i had to make an attempt. This was great fun, and relatively easy to use. The only thing keeping it from being super easy to use was me. Once i became confident, i had a blast using this. Bravo!
