I kept this book to go through until I had my niece as it is typically aimed at children but I think I loved it just as much as her. She said it was “awesome and super cool” and I’d have to agree. It has everything you’d need in a children’s recipe book;
* bright and colourful pages.
* easy to follow & healthy recipes.
* informative - there are a lot of fun facts throughout the book relating to the recipes.
* interactive quizzes
I especially loved that the ingredients are listed in metric and imperial measurements.

I would definitely recommend this book to anybody with children who have an interest in the kitchen!

This is a cute cookbook with kid-friendly recipes that are simply and tasty! These are not the healthiest recipes out there and do use a decent amount of pre-made ingredients (pillsbury rolls, cake mix, etc.), but I know my toddlers will eat them and food won’t go to waste.

I didn’t find any of the recipes overly imaginative, but it is a solid collection of fan-favorites with accessible ingredients and preparation instructions. I also appreciate that these recipes are written with the idea of having your kids helping you to prepare them.

This was a cute book of recipes for kids. A lot of the recipes were pretty basic- pizza, chicken nuggets, smoothies, french toast. Some had fun twists.

There weren't really any moderately healthy recipes. It was either super unhealthy or super healthy. I would have liked to see some that were more balanced meals.

Kids in the Kitchen is written by mom and foodie Rossini Perez. This kid's cookbook ticks all the boxes:
-kid friendly
-bright but pleasing colour choices
-great food photos to catch the reader's attention
-lots of tips and tricks in the front of the book for the beginner and kitchen pro
-recipes from morning to night and all the snakes in between
-fun quizzes and health facts
-healthy ingredients compared to some old favourites
-tips for picky eaters and parents alike.
Overall, this would be a great addition to any child's bookshelf that is interested in getting into the kitchen!

Not exactly a kid and I don't have any kids but I really enjoyed these recipes. This book does what it intends to do: help kids make fun, simple. easy-to-follow recipes. This is because, well, kids are kids and they will have a hard time following the "adult" cooking books. so "Kids in the Kitchen" really does well making sure that kids can learn, have fun cooking, and stay safe.
Anyhow, now that I'm done writing this review, a snack looks good, looks like I'll be making one! ;)
