This is a book on the concept of Nature's conservation. This was told through two parrots Azul and Alfie. They tried saving their homes (trees) but all in vain due to deforestation.

This concept was good. Concern is serious but the focus, I believe, should be on conservation of nature, stopping deforestation majorly and in that process author must not forget that its not only parrots that lives in there but there is complete ecosystem exist out there in forests. She in her depiction of saving parrots, probably forget that cows are animals too and those also need better natural habitat to survive. Covering trees with mesh cages can be applicable for cities but never for forests. And most importantly animals are more connected to nature than us, HUMANS. Cows do not eat planted trees unless that is vegetables or shrubs or grasses. Cow is a grazing animal that manly depends on pasturage. Trees on which parrots resides like Mango trees, Java plum or figs, guava or acacia. I, myself, have saved parrots from tree that supposed to be cut by Highway authorities with approval of forest department for crossing-over bridge from the road I saved those. So, via parrots the message must be given to stop deforestation and not only the survival of parrots. Sometimes such small things made the alert message go in vain or if not that worse than for sure make it ineffective.

Art is so mediocre for someone who's MA in illustration but yes, apart from the point I raised in above paragraph, the book is good to read and atleast keeping its fair share at some level to raise voice on conservation of nature.

For me it is 3.5/5.0
