Rip-roaring domestic suspense thriller that has to make it on to your TBR!

Wow! What an absolutely brilliant book 😄 This is my first by Caz Frear, but it won’t be my last. I loved it! Really pacy, chocked full of tension, unexpected twists galore, and a really compulsive page turner. It’s everything you could want in a domestic suspense novel where the lead character’s life unravels in the most shocking of ways. There’s brilliant social commentary throughout too, plus an exploration of mother-daughter relationships, small and close-knit communities and the divide between rich and poor. Very much gave me Louise Candlish vibes, which is a big win in my eye!

I was also fortunate enough to get early access to the audiobook, which was also fantastic. I really enjoyed blending listening with reading the physical book and found the final conclusion exhilarating in audio. The pace translates really well and the narration is pitch perfect.

All I can say is that this is a MUST READ!
