She’s not sorry was another great book from this author. Fantastically written with many unexpected twists which had me unable to put my kindle down. It was a fast-paced dark twisty read with lots of tension which builds throughout.
Meghan is trying to find balance between being a single mum to a teenage daughter and working as a full time nurse. While on duty at the hospital one day, a patient named Caitlin arrives in a coma with a traumatic brain injury, having jumped from a bridge. Meghan has always tried not to get attached to her patients but this time she makes the mistake of getting too close. Then someone comes forward with evidence that maybe Caitlin didn’t jump. By Meghan getting to close to Caitlin has she put her own daughter at risk.
This was such a great gripping thriller which will have you hooked highly recommend. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy.

Twisty, edgy and seriously dark. On the face of it a woman has been found after miraculously surviving a fall from a high bridge, assumed as suicide at first but actually more sinister. The spotlight is on several people close to her and her life doesn’t seem as straightforward as we first thought. We also concentrate on the nurse who tends to her in critical care whose stand of the story gradually begins to intertwine. There is also a man, locally attacking young women, so nobody feels safe and we all, including the reader, feel on edge.
There are some serious twists and surprises in this storyline which left me reeling a fair few times. There are a few too many coincidences at times, which made me twitch a little but you can just about get away with. Overall there is a lot going on and plenty to keep you entirely immersed and racing to the finish. Recommend.

I’ve only read one book from this author before and remember being a little underwhelmed but holy moly this one was really good! The first twist I didn’t see coming at all and was executed perfectly. Fast paced book. A lot of untrustworthy characters and even more twists at the end. My only criticism is the last 10% or so felt a little rushed but overall a great enjoyable thriller.
Thank you to netgalley for providing an ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Another beautifully crafted thriller by Kubica.
There as some incredible twists that you won’t see coming and enough suspense to keep you reading late into the night.

This thriller will ensnare you in a tight grip until the satisfying conclusion. There were more twists and turns in this book than a roller coaster ride! Wow!... I was sitting there in complete surprise with a wide-open mouth! If you like a good thriller with lots of twists, you need look no further!

Awesome.
Meghan Michaels is trying to find balance between being a single mom to a teenage daughter and working as a full time nurse. While on duty at the hospital one day, a patient named Caitlin arrives in a coma with a traumatic brain injury, having jumped from a bridge and plunging over twenty feet to the train tracks below.
But when a witness comes forward with shocking details about the fall, it calls everything they know into question. Was Caitlin pushed and if so, by whom and why?
Meghan has always tried to stay emotionally detached from her patients, but this time, she mistakenly lets herself get too close until she’s deeply entangled in Caitlin’s and her family’s lives. Only when it’s too late, does she realize that she and her daughter could be the next victims.
Thanks to NetGalley and HQ for giving me an advance copy.

Nurse Meghan lives with her 16-year-old daughter, Sienna, after divorcing her husband, Ben. While at a divorce support group, she reconnects with Natalie from high school. Natalie is being abused by her husband, and Meghan does all she can to help her.
At work, Meghan is taking care of Caitlin, a young girl who tried to kill herself by jumping off a bridge.
In part three, these stories combine into one. I actually liked them better when they were separate. How are they connected? What role does Caitlin's brother play in this whole thing? How about Luke, the co-worker who seems overly interested in Meghan's wellbeing.
The book was good. A lot of reviews stated there were too many characters and plots trying to blend. I don't agree with this. I think the author did a good job of bringing it all together. The book was good-not my favorite by her, but I def plowed through it.
