Many thanks to NetGalley, the Publisher, and the Author for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Being born and raised in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, I've always had a love of nature and appreciation of the National Parks. This book is beautifully illustrated and gives so much fun, educational information on all the National Parks. The books breaks it down by region in the US, and discusses the National Parks within those regions. I love that it gives historical information, as well as facts about the plant and wildlife found in that particular area. This would be a wonderful addition to any classroom or children's library!

Beautiful book! The art is so lovely it can be enjoyed by people of any age! I appreciate that the parks are divided in regions and each park has fun facts and information. Fun to look at and read through again and again.

This book is amazing! My kids and both myself and husband absolutely loved this! It had amazing pictures, very informative, and absolutely awesome for those who want to learn about the parks! I can’t wait to re-read with my kids as we travel to visit some (maybe all!) of these places in the future! Absolutely a wonderful book!

Beautifully illustrated and informative. This was a nice overview of all the US National Parks, and it was fun seeing the ones I’ve visited and learning more about the ones I haven’t. There were lots of fun facts and the animals and plant life you can find at each one. This would be a good buy for children and for adults. I would buy it to keep it for a coffee table book!

Author Kate Siber is releasing several books this spring featuring adventures in the US, just in time for any libraries' adventure-themed summer reading. But Siber's mastery of this illustration form combined with a keen sense of whimsy and understanding of what's essential in nonfiction for this stage young reader.

I particularly enjoyed the layout of National Parks of the USA. Siber does a beautiful job of prioritizing information with visual cues, without resorting to "siloing" facts and figures. These books are really readable rhather than just information repositories. And the illustrations are not just fun and accessible, they are truly appealing.

Starting with a general overview and history of the how the national park program began, the book is divided into seven sections representing different regions of the United States. Beginning in the eastern United States and working westward, each section provides a general description of the landscape, climate and wildlife found in that part of the country. A short but informative paragraph introduces each park and paints a picture of the landscape as well as the flora, fauna and wildlife which inhabit the park. Also included is a separate page offering renderings and more specific information of the plants and animals of the park.

The informative narrative is offset by simple but eye catching art work encompassing the landscape and wildlife and offering illustrations of families enjoying the activities each park has to offer. Done in muted tones of greens and blues, browns, reds and yellows, the colors reflect the tones and shades of the park's landscape

This book is a great introduction to all the national parks have to offer.,

Absolutely loved the illustrations! One of the most beautiful atlases I have ever seen, with great descriptions and an index at the end.

This beautiful book has a little something for all readers. The creative graphics are all throughout making it easy to read and learn more about the individual parks (even some that are not as common), the regions of the US they're in, as well as the wildlife within each. I've visited several parks myself but since our family has several more on our list, we're always looking for more information. This would be a great companion to an educational unit, or also a way to prepare for travel to the parks soon or in the future. I'll be recommending this to other national park lovers...or those who should be!

I love the art in this book! It's so fun to look at all the pictures in this style of art. Each featured park has a page with an overview and a second scrapbook-type page with info about different flora, fauna and man-made structures in the park. It's a pretty neat way to read about some of the most popular parks.

I was a little disappointed that it didn't include all the parks, instead just focusing on the major ones. Hopefully that would get kids interested enough to learn more about the ones that aren't featured though.

This would be perfect in a 4th grade classroom when we learn about National Parks.

This is an excellent book that gives fun facts, history, and information about the National Park system. It doesn’t highlight all the parks but it does feature some of the major parks in each region of the country. I love that it includes information about the flora and fauna found in the parks. There’s also a fun alphabet at the end of the book that’s great for the littlest reader. The illustrations are beautiful.
I can’t wait to share this book with my kids as we plan our national park road trip this summer!

I have recently been visiting national parks and collecting the passport stamps and regional stamps for each of the parks, so when I saw this book, I knew I needed to check it out! This only covers the "parks," so none of the national rivers, recreation areas, landmarks, military parks, etc. I am always saddened when books about national parks leave out some of my favorite locations because of their classification within the park system. This book is absolutely beautiful though. The artwork evokes a lot of the natural beauty found at each of the parks. I loved the inclusion of animals or plants you may encounter at each of the parks. I wish this were more like a checklist or that it had a spot for passport stamps and notes. Otherwise, I think this is a fantastic book for anyone interested in the national parks and learning about the various landscapes across the country.

It has nice illustrations. A paragraph about each national park. It’s great for geography students in elementary and middle school.
