A hidden gem.

As far as superhero novels go, this was great fun! Very reminiscent of Agents of SHIELD (a great thing in my opinion), and the mystery element was well planned-out.

The pacing was great too, and the alternating POVs of the characters kept the story from getting repetitive. It’s the frist time I see different POVs written in different persons and while it was weird to me at first, the author really makes it work for this story.

I don't think I have any kind of crticisim for this book, everything was perfect. I loved Susan as a protagonist, very fleshed out, and despite being a bit overpowered, she didn't feel like a Mary Sue.

This had a strong concept for a scifi novel, it had a great overall concept and I enjoyed the feel of the world. The characters were everything that I was hoping for and glad they felt like they were supposed to in this world. It uses the powered humans perfectly. P T Lacy has a great writing style and left me wanting to read more from this world and from P T Lacy.

An exciting, well written, and emotionally deep page-turner! The storyline is engaging and interesting with drama, twists, suspense, steam, and more. The characters are likeable and fated mates; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!
